Kristin Cavallari is clearing up her and Jay Cutler’s custody arrangement.
The host of the podcast “Let’s Be Honest” shared with her audience that she takes care of their three children most of the time. She mentioned how she works hard to provide for them, considering the responsibility on her shoulders.
Speaking about her children, Camden, 12, Jaxon, 11, and Saylor, 9, Cavallari mentioned that she used to have them full time and now has them except for every other weekend. She chose not to delve into the specifics of the situation.
Cavallari’s comments come eight months after she hinted at a “change” in the former couple’s custody agreement.
“I don’t really have a lot of time for anything,” the 38-year-old said in an October 2024 episode — but did not elaborate further.
On Tuesday, she also spoke about getting asked about Cutler, 42, in “every single interview.”
Expressing her feelings candidly, the former “Hills” star talked about the challenging nature of her circumstances. Cavallari emphasized that she puts in a lot of effort to avoid discussing matters concerning her ex-husband, a retired NFL player.
“I feel like that is a dealbreaker for me,” Cavallari continued. “And if I say one tiny, tiny little thing then everyone goes, ‘She never shuts the f–k up about her ex-husband. Oh, she’s still talking about him?’”
The reality star noted that she gets “asked the same questions over and over and over” despite calling Cutler an “off-limits” topic.
“I’ve been divorced for five years and people still ask about it. Like, I can’t win,” Cavallari added, requesting that the public “move on.”
She and the former athlete wed in 2013 and welcomed their two sons and daughter before calling it quits in 2020.
The duo settled their divorce in 2022.
Cavallari defended mentioning Cutler on occasion because their split is “part of [her] story” and her “journey.”
She joked that recent comments over Miley Cyrus name-dropping Liam Hemsworth in an “Every Single Album” podcast interview “made [her] feel better” because haters had the “same s–t” to say about the singer.
Cutler issued his own comment about their co-parenting dynamic earlier this month.
“We’ve got our schedule and it works for us,” he told Us Weekly — despite Cavallari making headlines last year for saying he is a “pathological liar” who brings “zero f–king consistency” to their family.
Cutler has been engaged to Samantha Robertson since November 2024.
While Cavallari revealed on Tuesday that she has not dated anyone this year, she has previously been linked to TikTok star Mark Estes and country singer Morgan Wallen, among others.
