Lara Trump reveals who she thinks is the 'most influential' MAGA star

Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, has lifted the lid on who Trumpworld’s favorite media superstar is.

Lara Trump, the former co-chair of the Republican National Committee, penned a tribute for Time Magazine’s ‘100 Most Influential People of 2025,’ where she praised Megyn Kelly, the former Fox News host, for her role in reshaping media during the MAGA era.

‘Megyn Kelly is a force,’ Trump wrote, adding that her ‘journalism is unparalleled, and fearless.’

The tributes on the list are typically written by friends with deep histories with those they are profiling.

Having known Kelly for about a decade, especially since her father-in-law entered politics, Lara Trump, who currently hosts her show on Fox News, expressed admiration for the journalist’s contributions.

‘In 2024, she redefined media by talking about the toughest issues and engaging audiences across the spectrum,’ the former RNC co-chair wrote.

Trump highlighted Kelly’s sharp intelligence and her dedication to fostering honest conversations, noting that her influence goes beyond molding public opinions to inspiring a new wave of journalists.

‘She’s a trailblazer who isn’t afraid to voice where she stands on any given issue, and her impact on the media landscape is undeniable.’

Trump, the wife of Eric Trump, also plugged a new business venture Kelly started just weeks ago.

‘In March, she announced the launch of a, MK Media, highlighting other standout perspectives,’ Trump wrote.

‘As someone who values strong, independent, female voices, I couldn’t be prouder to see her recognized among the world’s most influential people. Megyn Kelly is a force.’

The two blonde journalists appear to have a friendly personal and work relationship.

Last month, Kelly joined Trump on her podcast ‘The Right View with Lara Trump’ where the host similarly heaped on glowing praise.

The president’s daughter-in-law introduced the former Fox News as ‘a legend in the conservative space.’

Kelly, 54, did not always have a solid relationship with the first family, however.

In 2015, when she moderated a presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, the future president fumed at the then-Fox News host’s questions.

He called her ‘not very tough and not very sharp.’ In 2023, the Republican called Kelly ‘nasty.’

Kelly, for her part, has also lobbed criticism at the president and his administration.

Though that all seems to be water under the bridge since Kelly launched her own talk show and podcast that has frequently been supportive of the president and his positions.

Kelly’s staying power in the 78-year-old’s orbit was proven as he chose her to speak at a critical campaign event the day before the 2024 election.

During her speech she said Trump ‘will be a protector of women’ and noted his ‘energy and stamina’ that he has ‘at his age.’

Other notable media personalities that made the list include podcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan, ABC News journalist David Muir and ‘Saturday Night Live’ creator Lorne Michaels.
