Las Vegas Strip Club Offers Complimentary Dances to Support Furloughed Government Workers

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — In response to the ongoing government shutdown, a well-known Las Vegas gentlemen’s club is extending a unique offer to federal workers who have been left without pay. Crazy Horse 3 is inviting these employees to enjoy a complimentary lap dance as a gesture of goodwill.

The initiative, dubbed “Strippers Against Shutdowns,” will commence on Wednesday, Oct. 15. This entertaining relief effort aims to provide a moment of escapism for federal workers grappling with the financial strain of the shutdown.

“I doubt this will solve any of their issues, but if it allows them a brief respite from their worries, then why not?” commented Louis Aceves, the club’s operations manager. This light-hearted proposal is meant to give workers a chance to momentarily forget their predicament.

Those interested in taking advantage of this offer need to show valid government-issued ID or employment verification. All participating federal employees must be at least 21 years old to qualify for the complimentary service.

“Las Vegas has always been about taking care of people who work hard, and right now, a lot of our instrumental federal employees who keep this country running are feeling the impact of politics putting paychecks on pause,” Nando Sostilio, Owner of Crazy Horse 3 said. “We wanted to find a fun, uniquely Vegas way to show support and remind everyone that a little entertainment can go a long way, even in hard times.”

The “Strippers Against Shutdowns” promotion includes complimentary admission and the free lap dance from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

“It affects not just government workers but also service industry workers,” Aceves added. “Because we all need the business, it was one way to bring back and give to the community.”

The Senate rejected a bill to reopen the government for the eighth time on Tuesday, ensuring the shutdown will enter its third week.

This isn’t the first time a Las Vegas strip club has given back to the valley in the form of free dances. In 2021, Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club hosted a free vaccination clinic where dances and complimentary bottles were provided, and in 2022, it offered a free ride to the club, a free cover, a drink, and a lap dance to stranded travelers stuck in Las Vegas.

“We want to make something feel like Vegas. I mean, We ARE Vegas. We provide Vegas entertainment, and this is our way of showing that.”
