Lauren Sanchez was the ‘most ignored person at the ‘techie’ tycoon group during Trump’s inauguration yesterday – as she ‘pouted’ and ‘interrupted’ her fiancé Jeff Bezos to get his attention, a body language expert has revealed.

The glamorous former reporter, 55, clung to the Amazon CEO, 61, inside the capitol as the most powerful people in the country shuffled around her, including Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan.

But speaking to FEMAIL, Judi James said it’s clear that the ex-news anchor’s ‘front-facing pose left her isolated’. 

She was seen ‘stuck between the backs of both Bezos and Zuckerberg’, who appeared to be immersed in their own conversations.

The communications coach added that it was then that Lauren ‘seemed to glance at Priscilla before turning back to the front with a head-toss and pout that could suggest defiance’.

‘Being the most noticeable but also the most ignored person in the group, she tried to re-boot by touching her fiancé on the back to interrupt him mid-chat.

‘He politely turned to look at her but when he found out she just wanted to point out the ceiling he smiled indulgently before sustaining his head rotation to turn straight back into his chat again, leaving Lauren clutching at his arm but excluded from both conversations.’

Judi said that Lauren was sure to attract attention in her ‘eye-catching white corset top on show’ and ‘turned frequently on the stairs on the way in, in what looked like a bid to catch the cameras’.

‘She stood on the balcony looking high-profile ahead while all around her engaged in some excited, techie-looking chats,’ the expert continued, albeit appearing ‘isolated’ from her group.

However, Judi said Lauren later ‘displayed friendship signals later with Zuckerberg’. chatting laughing and even placing a hand to her mouth to suggest some secret giggling and whispering.

Priscilla didn’t participate in the friendly chit chat between Lauren and her husband, instead turning her back to the pair as she conversed with others. 

Lauren and Jeff arrived at the US Capitol Rotunda in Washington, D.C. on Monday morning.

The journalist wore a long white mohair coat, buttoned up in the middle with her long, dark brown hair wavy and tied up in a low pony tail, with some loose tendrils around her face.

Once inside, she took her demure jacket off to reveal the white pantsuit – with lace lingerie peaking through.

It appears to be the same outfit the soon-to-be Mrs Bezos wore during a chat with Forbes executive vice president Moira Forbes at the 2024 Forbes Power Women’s Summit in September. 

On Sunday evening, she rubbed shoulders with Ivanka Trump, the President’s daughter, at a candlelight dinner at the National Building Museum.

The former TV host wore a stunning black Dolce and Gabbana gown for the event, where she was seen embracing Ivanka. 

Lauren called the night a ‘magical evening’ on Instagram as she showed off her stunning black dress that featured a glittery strapless top and a silk draped skirt from the Italian designer. She and her billionaire lover were seen talking to fellow tech titan Elon Musk, 53, ahead of the event as the socialite held tightly to her man’s arm.

At the same event, Ivanka was seen sparkling in a hand-beaded crystal and pearl gown made by American brand Oscar de la Renta. The same designer also dressed Second Lady Usha Vance, 39, for the event in a dress cut similar to Lauren’s.

Jeff and Lauren have kept extraordinary secrecy around their upcoming wedding, ever since he proposed aboard his $500 million super yacht in May 2023.

However, the bride-to-be let slip on the Today Show last month that she had bought her wedding dress, but no precise plans have been made public.

Lauren told Vogue in November last year that, at that point, she hadn’t started planning.

‘We’re still thinking about the wedding,’ she told the magazine. ‘Is it going to be big? Is it going to be overseas? We don’t know yet.’

When asked if he would get involved in the plans, Bezos reportedly laughed and said: ‘Oh, God, no. Do I look that dumb?’

Today Show hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie took their chance when Lauren sat for an interview on November 20 this year, cheekily asking about her wedding plans.

‘So, you asked?’ said Lauren , looking a little exasperated. 

She said she was ‘very excited about it,’ adding she was ‘thinking about the dress’.

‘I have to say, I do have a Pinterest, I’m just like every other bride, so I do have a Pinterest board,’ the billionaire’s fiancée admitted.

The couple have been publicly dating since January 2019.

It comes as Donald Trump declared ‘now, the work begins’ at his inaugural parade in Washington and immediately delivered on his promise by signing an executive order to undo 78 of former President Biden’s presidential actions.

He also ordered a requirement that federal workers return to full-time in-person work, a directive to every department and agency to address the cost of living crisis, and announced withdrawal from the Paris climate treaty.
