Paris, the renowned epicenter of high fashion, witnessed a spectacle at Fashion Week that might have left the chic residents of Avenue Montaigne raising their eyebrows. Celebrities donned daring ensembles in a bid to steal the limelight.

Since its grand debut in 1973, Paris Fashion Week has been synonymous with sophistication and style, setting the expectation that attendees mirror the elegance of the models gracing the runway.

However, not everyone hit the mark. Among those who missed the style memo was Dua Lipa, 30, who turned heads with a vividly patterned ensemble featuring a knee-length skirt, jacket, and purse in bold yellow, black, and red hues. An American fashion publication critiqued her choice, suggesting it was not the most appealing sight.

While Dua Lipa aimed to inject some brightness into the Parisian scene, Lauren Sánchez took a different route with her fashion choice. She appeared in a subdued all-grey outfit, cinched at the waist and accented with a striking fur collar, seemingly unaware of the vibrant invitation.

Unfortunately for the 56-year-old Sánchez, her fashion faux pas wasn’t the only hiccup. She suffered an awkward fall at the entrance of the Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2026 show on Monday, adding an unexpected twist to her appearance.

Thankfully, the wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos recovered quickly from her trip and continued inside alongside her billionaire husband. 

Lauren was also widely mocked for her blood-red Schiaparelli suit, which has been likened to an ensemble from ‘Shein’, during another outing in the French capital.

Making equally questionable fashion choices was Tilda Swinton. 

While most would safely presume Paris Fashion Week is all about the glitz and glamour, the British actress, 65, decided to opt against the status quo and wore a sophisticated ensemble more suitable for a day at Cheltenham races or a dinner at a countryside pub.

The Chronicles of Narnia star donned a tweed jacket and matching midi skirt, with two-tone slingback heels and a patterned blouse for the Chanel Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2026 collection.

But none of those outfits were quite as bizarre as Brazilian social media star Livia Nunes’s attire. 

The internet personality, who often appears at fashion week events, attended the Saint Laurent Menswear Fall/Winter 2026-2027 show in what looked like a raunchy white lace bodysuit best left in the bedroom.

She added some modesty to the look via a silky green blouse and a pair of sheer black tights, teamed with black high heels. 

Meanwhile, Nicole Kidman, 58, turned heads in a quirky black feathered mini dress, which featured a leather skirt, and dark shades as she made her arrival and posed for the cameras at the Chanel show.

She boosted her height with eye-catching black and white shoes and displayed her smooth visage as she sat beside Anna Wintour on the front row.

But it certainly wasn’t just the ladies who failed to impress during Paris Fashion Week – the men put on equally bizarre displays.

Sons of Anarchy actor Charlie Hunnam, 45, made an appearance at the Saint Laurent Menswear Fall/Winter 2026-2027 show.

For the outing, he donned a mix-match of colours, including a silky green shirt, teamed with an equally shiny pair of navy trousers and a brown trench coat.
