Trump's leaked schedule defies growing scrutiny over health

Donald Trump is reportedly putting in over 10 hours of work each day, as revealed by a recently leaked version of his schedule. This disclosure comes amid growing concerns about the 79-year-old president’s health and stamina.

In response to a New York Times article that suggested he is ‘facing the realities of aging,’ Trump dismissed these claims following a rally in Pennsylvania that lasted over 90 minutes.

According to a detailed report by Fox News Digital, covering nearly two weeks of his schedule, the president is involved in approximately 21 meetings each day. These sessions, combined with travel and other commitments, contribute to his extensive hours in the White House.

Trump typically starts his day around 8:30 a.m. with a series of phone calls, followed by meetings with staff, politicians, and dignitaries. On one particular day, he even met with an unspecified ‘television personality.’

Moreover, the president frequently engages with the American business sector, holding meetings with various CEOs on 10 out of the 12 days documented.

Some of these meetings take as little as a few minutes but others can go on for much longer, as Trump met with the likes of ‘Ice Maiden’ Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and other key cabinet figures.

On December 3, Trump held a total of 32 events, easily his busiest day, while the day of the Pennsylvania rally, December 9 was his longest, running from 9:46am to 10:55pm.

The average day doesn’t tend to end for Trump until well after 8pm, though he doesn’t even hold to that sometimes, as his appearance at the primetime Congressional ball showed Thursday.

Even on one of the less busy days highlighted, Trump was still putting in around six hours of work and making an appearance at the Kennedy Center Honors Dinner or the day before, when he participated in the FIFA World Cup Draw and accepted the inaugural FIFA Peace Prize.

The White House and Trump himself have pushed back at reports of the demise of Trump’s health frequently.

The president unleashed a nearly 500-word tirade boasting about working ‘harder than I have ever worked before’ after claims that the 79-year-old president is facing significant health setbacks.

The president fired off the lengthy statement to Truth Social following the Pennsylvania rally, which kicks off a tour to protect Republican majorities in the midterm elections.

‘There has never been a President that has worked as hard as me! My hours are the longest, and my results are among the best,’ he said.

Trump touted the greatest hits of his second term – stopping wars, the economy, the border – and said he has ‘created an “aura” around the United States of America that has led every Country in the World to respect us more than ever before.’

The president then discussed his ‘long, thorough and very boring’ exams at Walter Reed Medical Center.

‘Seen and supervised by top doctors, all of whom have given me PERFECT Marks — Some have even said they have never seen such Strong Results. I do these Tests because I owe it to our Country,’ Trump noted.

He added: ‘In addition to the Medical, I have done something that no other President has done, on three separate occasions, the last one being recently, by taking what is known as a Cognitive Examination, something which few people would be able to do very well, including those working at The New York Times, and I ACED all three of them in front of large numbers of doctors and experts, most of whom I do not know.’

Trump directly took aim at The New York Times’ accusation that he has scaled back his public appearances in his second term compared to his first stint in the White House.

The article claimed that the President’s attempts to project ’round-the-clock energy, virility and physical stamina’ were becoming difficult for him to maintain as he ages.

‘Despite all of this, the time and work involved, The New York Times, and some others, like to pretend that I am “slowing up,” am maybe not as sharp as I once was, or am in poor physical health, knowing that it is not true, and knowing that I work very hard, probably harder than I have ever worked before.’

His packed schedule has included flying more than 12 hours nonstop to Israel to broker a Gaza cease-fire in October, attending dozens of public events each week and holding lengthy, energetic press conferences.

‘I will know when I am “slowing up,” but it’s not now!’

Trump said that given the evidence from all of the exams he has gone through to test his physical and mental health, The New York Times should face consequences for its reporting.

‘I actually believe it’s seditious, perhaps even treasonous, for The New York Times, and others, to consistently do FAKE reports in order to libel and demean THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. They are true Enemies of the People, and we should do something about it.’

He then pointed out that many liberal media members have been ‘forced to apologize on much of what they wrote’ regarding his election results.

‘The best thing that could happen to this Country would be if The New York Times would cease publication because they are a horrible, biased, and untruthful “source” of information. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!’

The New York Times piece written by Rogers and Dylan Freedman claimed that Trump on average would start scheduled events at 10.31am during his first tenure, in 2017.

However, this year, the President started attending events later in the afternoon, on average at 12.08pm.

‘Name-calling and personal insults don’t change that, nor will our journalists hesitate to cover this administration in the face of intimidation tactics like this,’ A Times spokesperson told the Daily Mail.

‘Expert and thorough reporters like Katie Rogers exemplify how an independent and free press helps the American people better understand their government and its leaders.’

The overall number of Trump’s official appearances at White House events has declined by 39 percent compared to his first term, according to the New York Times’s analysis.

Throughout Joe Biden’s time in the White House, Trump and his Republican allies slammed the Democratic leader over his old age, lack of public appearances, and cognitive ability.

Earlier this year, pictures emerged from the Oval Office showing Trump with bruising on his hand, which was sometimes covered up by makeup. The White House claimed the bruising originates from the president shaking too many hands.

After photos showed him with swollen legs and ankles, the White House revealed in July that he had been diagnosed with Chronic Venous Insufficiency – a condition where leg veins can’t send blood back to the heart efficiently.

On Tuesday, Trump traveled to Mount Pocono, in the northeast part of the commonwealth, to give what was billed as an address on the economy.

In reality, the event had the makings of a campaign rally, as he defended his second-term record ahead of next year’s midterm races in front of a raucous crowd of MAGA faithful.
