LeAnn Rimes caused a stir among her fans when she was visibly upset following a brief, one-minute procedure aimed at alleviating tension in her jaw.

During the weekend, the 43-year-old artist documented the session, which involved an intense deep jaw release technique reputed for its emotional unburdening effects.

In the startling video, Rimes is observed lying on a bed while Garry Lineham, the creator behind the self-care initiative Human Garage, inserted his hand into her mouth. Meanwhile, an assistant held her down for support.

Overwhelmed by the immediate impact of the treatment, Rimes began to cry shortly after the session ended.

Lineham then encouraged her to affirm, “that part of my life is over,” prompting Rimes to reply, “That part of my life better be over.”

Taking a second to catch her breath, Rimes added: ‘Oh my God, you just don’t realize how much tension is in there.’

Human Garage specializes in fascial maneuvers to reduce stress, release tension and look, feel and move younger.

The business’s official Instagram account shared the video of Rimes’ treatment while claiming that healing ‘isn’t always quiet.’

‘Sometimes it’s a physical letting go of things we didn’t even know we were carrying,’ the caption continued.

‘You can see the exact moment the tension breaks and the emotional weight lifts, leaving her feeling visibly lighter and more aligned.’

The footage left some social media users feeling uneasy.

Taking to the comments, one cringed: ‘This is terrifying.’

‘It truly is THAT painful?’ asked another.

‘This looks so satisfying but also slightly terrifying at the same time. Does it actually work?’ a third asked on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Others, however, either shared their own experiences of jaw release or expressed their interest in wanting to also seek help.

One said: ‘I so know what that feels like. It’s wildly intense but it feels so good after.’

‘I’ve had this kind of work done. Hurts like heck but so necessary when those jaw and face muscles are hypertonic,’ added another.

Rimes isn’t a stranger to undergoing unusual treatments.

In January, she sought out an intensive procedure to ‘clean’ her blood of mold and microplastics.

The $45,000 longevity treatment claimed to remove the liquid portion of blood, filtering out toxins, antibodies and inflammatory agents before replacing it with fresh plasma.

‘I demand so much from my body and it’s incredibly important to me to take the best care of it I possibly can,’ she captioned her video, which showed her reclining in a chair with tubes connected to her arms.

An individual plasma exchange session at the clinic – lasting from one to three hours – costs $10,000, while a 3-session package is $24,000 and six is $45,000.

The Can’t Fight the Moonlight hitmaker, who is married to actor Eddie Cibrian, 52, added: ‘This is my second round of plasma exchange to help clear microtoxins, such as mold and microplastics and this time, I’ve added stem cells to encourage overall repair.’

Rimes also had a bit of a dental mishap on stage last year with her teeth falling out mid-performance during a show at the Skagit Valley Casino & Resort in Bow, Washington.

The singer, who has had multiple dental surgeries in the past and whose jaw memorably dislocated during a 2014 concert, detailed the excruciating moment her dental bridge ‘popped out’ with her Instagram followers in June.

She said: ‘We’re going to do a little story time about how the show must go on. And this is the most epic example of how the show must go on.

‘So last night, I was on stage in the middle of One Way Ticket. I feel something pop in my mouth. And if you’ve been around, you know I’ve had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front. It fell out in the middle of my song last night.’
