Lisa Rinna made a stunning entrance at Elton John’s 2026 Oscars party, turning heads with her impeccable style.
The star of “Traitors” donned a remarkable Christian Cowan creation, featuring multiple yards of glossy brunette hair extensions—totaling an impressive 11 pounds.
“I aimed to integrate hair more deeply into the fashion realm with this project,” Cowan shared exclusively with Page Six Style. “Hair doesn’t just complement the look; it becomes the centerpiece.”
The unique ensemble was crafted in collaboration with Tresemmé, marrying Cowan’s playful design aesthetic with the brand’s A-List Collection. An extensive team of 16 individuals dedicated 152 hours to perfecting everything from the sleek bodice to the dramatic train.
“Much like styling our hair, the A-List Collection was instrumental in shaping the hair into a couture masterpiece while preserving its dynamic movement,” Cowan explained, adding that he was deeply intrigued by the texture and fluidity of hair.
“Hair can be braided, wrapped, twisted or smoothed,” he adds. “It behaves almost like fabric when you think about it.”
He also used Tresemmé products at his New York Fashion Week show this February, with models like “Heated Rivalry” star Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova completely transforming their tresses with the line’s smoothing formulas.
Rinna was perhaps the perfect star to wear Cowan’s latest look, given she never shies away from a headline-making mane moment — whether she’s test-driving a red pixie cut, a blond bouffant or a viral pageboy ‘do.
It’s not the first time a celebrity has worn a hair-covered dress to an Oscars event; Julia Fox channeled Botticelli’s “Birth of Venus” at last year’s Vanity Fair party, wearing a sheer Dilara Fındıkoğlu design with strategically-placed curls.
With Rinna now joining in on the fun, it remains to be seen whether the trend will take off with more stars — or if it’ll be hair today, gone tomorrow.
