From over-the-top ruffles and bizarre feathers to clashing patterns and weirdly-shaped frocks, the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards have been filled with a slew of sartorial nightmares and fashion fails.

The event, which will be hosted by Kristen Bell, is set to kick off at 8pm EST/5pm EST and will stream live on Netflix and is set to honor the biggest movies and TV shows of the year. 

But a slew of A-listers have begun to descend upon the red carpet at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, ahead the ceremony. 

And while some wowed in glamorous dresses and stunning looks… others completely missed the mark with their ensembles.

That’s right, many of Hollywood’s most elite failed to impress with their bizarre outfit choices at the glittering soiree.

Cynthia Erivo completely missed the mark in her silver turtleneck gown, thanks, in part, to the excessive feathers around her neck

She of course completed her exaggerated look with some dramatic nails; the Wicked star has become known for sporting long and patterned nails that often match her outfits

Actress Ali Ahn hit the red carpet in a cream dress that had a huge piece of fur that resembled some sort of plant

Director and screenwriter Gia Coppola ensured all eyes were on her but for all the wrong reasons. She donned a ruffled dress that was completely covered in gems and diamonds

Actress Banita Sandhu also endured a sartorial nightmare as she arrived in a weirdly-shaped metallic frock 

Fashion fail! Actress Sasheer Zamata’s strangely patterned black gown was a little too all over the place 

The Day of the Jackal star Eleanor Matsuura donned a sheer, form-fitting lime green gown that left her undergarment on full display. She paired the unflattering look with bright green heels 

No thanks: Moeka Hoshi made the list thanks to her awkwardly shaped frock, which was extremely wide around her hips

Actress Joely Fisher looked like she was dressed more for a Taylor Swift concert than the SAG Awards in her sparkling red pants and shirt combo

Actress Joey King showed up in a weird black gown that just didn’t work. It had sheer cutouts on her chest and midriff area, as well as a turtleneck and diamond chains hanging off of it

Zoey Deschanel arrived in a simple black gown with a button-down white top and a bowtie that was a little too toned down for the event

TikTok star Anna Sitar opted for an extremely low-cut, loose black gown that fit awkwardly on her frame

Actress Monica Padman raised eyebrows in a strange black gown that contained a sheer midriff area and a long ruffled skirt

Fashion blogger Bronwyn Newport and actress Roxy Striar both also went a little overboard with their feathered and ruffled looks
