The nonchalant audio confession of Joran van der Sloot, who admitted to killing Natalee Holloway in 2005 after they met at a bar in Aruba, has been released.

Dutch Van Der Sloot, 36, was sentenced to 20 years in prison in Birmingham, Alabama, after pleading guilty to extortion and wire fraud in a plea deal.

During the deal, he agreed to reveal what happened to Natalee – who was 18 when she disappeared – in a case that has captured the nation’s attention for two decades.

Now, a court has released the terrifying 3 minute and 45 second clip where the killer calmly admitted to his heinous crime – as he watched Holloway’s face ‘collapse in.’

For the first time, the public can hear Van Der Sloot’s unemotional voice when he confesses: ‘I start feeling her up again and she tells me no. She tells me doesn’t want me to feel her up. I insist.

‘I keep feeling her up either way. She ends up kneeing me in the crotch. When she knees me in the crotch, I get up and I kick her extremely hard in the face.

‘She’s lying down unconscious, possibly even dead, but definitely unconscious. And I see right next to her there’s a huge cinderblock laying on the beach.’

The Dutch citizen admitted to beating Natalee to death at a beach after she refused his advances and placed her dead body in the Caribbean, before walking home.

Five years after the killing, an FBI sting recorded the extortion attempt in which van der Sloot asked for $250,000 from Beth Holloway to reveal the location of her daughter’s remains.

He agreed to accept $25,000 to disclose the location, and asked for the other $225,000 once the remains were recovered.

In an interview conducted by his attorney, the killer, who had always denied murdering Natalee, provided details of the final moments of the teen’s life.

The Dutch national was extradited for sentencing in the US from Peru where he is currently serving a 28-year sentence for the murder of Stephany Flores, who he smothered to death in a hotel room in 2010.

He will be sent back to Lima and his sentences will run concurrently.

Van der Sloot’s full confession

She asked to go back to her hotel but I was just trying to get dropped off a little bit further away from her hotel so we could walk back and I might still get a chance to be with her.

That’s what I was hoping for.

Deepak drops me off at another place, a little right of the Marriott Hotel known as The Fisherman’s Huts. This place is not far from, you know, the next hotel is the Marriott, and the next hotel after that is another Marriott, which is a timeshare.  And then it’s the Holiday Inn. We walk along the beach.

Deepak and Satish leave. They go back to their home,  assume they go back to their home. They get in their car and leave. I’m actually with Natalee, walking along the beach. I find a space before we get to the Marriott Hotel, where I lay her down, we lay down together in the sand and we start kissing each other. I get her to kiss me again and we start kissing each other.

I start feeling her up again and she tells me no. She tells me doesn’t want me to feel her up. I insist. I keep feeling her up either way. She ends up kneeing me in the crotch. When she knees me in the crotch, I get up and I kick her extremely hard in the face.

She’s lying down unconscious, possibly even dead, but definitely unconscious. And I see right next to her there’s a huge cinderblock laying on the beach.

I take this and I smash her head in with it completely. Her face basically collapses in. Even though it’s dark, I can see her face is collapsed in.

Afterwards, I don’t exactly know, I’m scared. I don’t know what to do. I decide to put her into the ocean. So I grab her and I half pull and half walk with her into the ocean. I push her off. I walk up to about my knees into the ocean and I push her off into the sea. After that, I get out. I walk home.

Natalee Holloway’s mother Beth has laid bare the depth of her ‘extreme emotional loss and grief’ in a heart wrenching victim impact statement.

Beth delivered her statement, obtained in full by DailyMail.com, as Joran Van der Sloot finally confessed to killing Natalee in 2005 in court.

And in an extraordinary show of compassion the mother of the murdered high school senior revealed that, for years, she has wondered about the ‘grief’ the killer’s own mother has experienced.

‘I have wondered over the years about the grief YOUR mother has experienced. I’ve thought about how you’ve destroyed her life, your brothers’, your grandmothers’ and everyone around you,’ she said.

Beth went on to ask Van der Sloot, who has a nine-year-old girl fathered while he was in prison in Peru: ‘And what about your daughter?

‘Imagine one day you get a call that your daughter has vanished, then you find out years later that a big bully who forced himself on her didn’t get what he wanted, so he violently murdered her. Imagine that.’

She speculated: ‘I’ve wondered if the stress you caused your father Paulus contributed to his heart attack and sudden death. You are to blame for all their suffering.’

Paulus van der Sloot died of a heart attack at the age of 57 while playing tennis in February 2010. His wife, Anita, subsequently revealed that Joran blamed himself for his father’s unexpected demise.

The lawyer had repeatedly tried to shield his son in the face of intense suspicion and relentless scrutiny following Natalee’s death.

In the written statement that Beth read aloud in court, she said: ‘Extreme emotional loss and pain really can’t be comprehended by those who haven’t lived a devastating tragedy like ours, and I have also suffered great professional and financial loss.’

The bereaved mother moved to Aruba after her daughter’s death in a desperate bid to uncover what had become of her.

Today she revealed she had lost her teaching license and tenure as a result and had to go back to school to have her license reinstated.

She added: ‘Since 2010 when you extorted me and tried to sell me her bodily remains, I incurred attorney and investigative expenses that totally about $215,000.’

Natalee, who was killed days after graduating high school, would be celebrating her 37th birthday on Saturday had she lived.

Holloway´s body was never found, and no charges were filed in the case. A judge declared Holloway dead in 2012

Beth Holloway said: ‘You didn’t get what you wanted from Natalee, your sexual satisfaction, so you brutally killed her’

She had aspirations to go to medical school and her mother revealed she thinks about what kind of doctor she might have become.

She would, her mother imagined, have been married and had children – her grandchildren.

‘But you have destroyed all this,’ Beth told Van der Sloot, ‘You terminated her potential, her dreams and her possibilities when you bludgeoned her to death in 2005.’

Beth’s sentiments were echoed in a letter submitted to Judge Anna M. Manasco by Natalee’s father, David Holloway.

In the letter, also obtained by DailyMail.com, Holloway stated: ‘We were robbed of a promising future together with our beautiful, talented Natalee. And now we know who took that future from us.’

Asking the judge to sentence Van der Sloot ‘to the fullest extent of the law’ Holloway said: ‘Despite everything he has done to us, he is not sorry for what he did. He expresses no remorse, regret or even compassion for committing the horrific crime that violently ended Natalee’s life and irreparably changed the trajectory of all of ours.’

He branded her daughter’s killer, ‘evil personified’.
