Makhmudov wastes no time in round one
The bout began with an aggressive display, as the Russian contender advanced, pushing Fury into a defensive stance in the corner of the ring. With a swift move, he managed to pin Fury against the ropes, delivering a punch to the side of Fury’s head, leaving him momentarily off balance.
Despite being cornered, Fury demonstrated his trademark resilience, deftly swatting at Makhmudov to keep him at bay. Known for his remarkable comebacks, the Gypsy King proved that making any early predictions would be premature and possibly misguided.
As the first round drew to a close, Fury seemed to regain his rhythm, bouncing back with increased energy and finding his stride in the ring.
