Luka Doncic weighed in on his new boss.

On Thursday, the star player for the Lakers shared his opinions about the surprising news that the Buss family is selling most of their ownership in the team to businessman Mark Walter for about billion.

“The Lakers are an amazing organization,” Doncic posted on X.

“I’m looking forward to meeting Mark and excited about the future. I am also grateful to Jeanie and the Buss family for welcoming me to LA, and I’m happy that Jeanie will continue to be involved. I look forward to working with both of them to win championships!”

The deal marks the largest sale for a U.S. sports franchise.

Walter also is the primary owner of the Dodgers in MLB, and is the CEO of TWG Global.

Jeanie Buss will remain the franchise’s governor after the deal, according to ESPN.

Doncic is preparing for his first full season with the Lakers after they acquired him midseason as part of the stunning blockbuster deal that sent Anthony Davis to the Mavericks.

He averaged 28.2 points in 28 regular season games before the Lakers were eliminated in five games by the Timberwolves in the first round of the playoffs.

LeBron James has not yet accepted his $52.6 million player option for next year yet, but he’s hinted that he intends to return for his 23rd season in the NBA — which would make him the first in league history to reach that milestone — and eighth with the Lakers.

Doncic and James would have a full offseason this time around to jell in their quest to win a championship.
