A new romance seems to be blossoming between a rising Hollywood star and a member of a royal family, reminiscent of the well-known love story of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

Madelyn Cline, renowned for her parts in Netflix’s Outer Banks and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, recently fueled dating rumors with Prince Constantine-Alexios of Greece and Denmark. The duo was seen looking quite comfortable with each other at a New York City bar, making headlines as one of the most eligible bachelors globally seemed enchanted by the actress.

Although the rumored relationship has not been officially acknowledged by the pair, a source close to Madelyn has mentioned her desire for ‘her happily ever after,’ especially following a series of publicized breakups.

‘Madelyn is definitely a romantic. She wants her happily ever after,’ the source exclusively told the Daily Mail.

‘She’s someone who always wanted the best for herself and isn’t going to settle just to settle. That’s not her. She knows what she wants, and she goes for it.’

Photos and videos captured the 27-year-old actress and the 26-year-old royal locking lips at the low-key Lion’s Bar in Manhattan’s East Village, as Prince Constantine wrapped his arm around the blonde beauty.

To match the low-key setting, the two kept things casual as Madelyn donned plain dark trousers, a baseball cap and a T-shirt, while Constantine also sported a T-shirt and jeans combination.

Evidence of their date night was even further verified after Constantine shared a photo on his social media of a woman who bore a striking resemblance to Madelyn.

In the photo, she was seen leaning forward and gazing at the pool table in front of her, with her blonde tresses falling around her shoulders.

And as news surfaced of their outing, fans online seemed to be pleased by the unlikely pairing.

‘Get it girl. That’s hot,’ one user wrote on Instagram.

‘Fairytales do come true,’ another person said.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a young actress sparking romance rumors with a member of a European royal family – although that one resulted in a major familial rift.

As for Madelyn and Constantine, fans believe this burgeoning romance couldn’t have happened at a better time for the actress, who’s undoubtedly had her fair share of makeups and breakups over the years.

For those who are unaware of the Hollywood star, she received her big break when she was cast as adventurous girl-next-door Sarah Cameron in the Netflix series Outer Banks, which is currently filming its final season in Charleston, South Carolina.

She later starred in the second installment of the Knives Out franchise, which was released on Netflix in 2022. 

Her most recent blockbuster role was in the I Know What You Did Last Summer remake, which hit theatres last July. 

‘Her career is on its way up,’ the source continued. 

‘I don’t think she needs to marry a prince to make it better. She has never seemed like someone who will get with somebody for ambition.’

Madelyn, a South Carolina native herself, had her first high-profile romance with her Outer Banks co-star Chase Stokes, who plays her on-screen love interest John B.

The two met in 2019, before filming for season one began, and started dating in April 2020. They confirmed their relationship shortly after with a loved-up Instagram post shared to Chase’s account.

But by November 2021, it was reported that the couple was no longer together after more than a year of dating.

Madelyn later admitted that the difficulties of navigating her first relationship in the spotlight played a role in their breakup, as she told Therapuss podcast host Jake Shane she ‘did not know which way was up [and] which way was down’ during her relationship with Chase.

Still, that didn’t stop her from being romantically linked to a number of actors and musicians following their split.

She dated singer Jackson Guthy from 2022 to 2023, before moving on with comedian Pete Davidson. Madelyn was often photographed out and about with the Saturday Night Live alum, though things fizzled out by July 2024.

Just one week before Madelyn was caught kissing Prince Constantine, she was also spotted out in New York City with her on-again, off-again rumored boyfriend Zack Bia. 

While Madelyn was initially linked to the DJ in 2021, they’ve both maintained they’re not officially dating.

Underneath an Instagram post from DeuxMoi about Madelyn’s date night with Constantine, one user commented: ‘Honestly anyone but Zack Bia thank you’

‘Girllll YESSS finally stepping it up to someone good, a damn PRINCE,’ another fan said.

Indeed, Constantine holds the title of Prince of Greece and Denmark, but critics of this royal family are quick to point out that the Greek monarchy was abolished in 1973 – ending with the reign of Constantine’s paternal grandfather, the late King Constantine II of Greece.

As such, he merely holds a courtesy title, but his family tree is still quite impressive.

Constantine is related to the British royal family through the late Prince Philip, who was born a Prince of Greece and Denmark. 

His paternal grandfather was the godfather of Prince William, who later returned the favor when he was made Constantine’s godfather.

He is the eldest son and second child of Prince Pavlos and Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece and Denmark, who also share one daughter and three younger sons. His older sister, Princess Maria-Olympia, is the goddaughter of King Charles III.

Known as ‘Tino’ to his friends, he was raised with his siblings in London and attended the prestigious Wetherby School, followed by Wellington College in Berkshire. 

He decided to enroll in university in the United States, matriculating at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and graduating in 2022.

His family soon followed suit, taking up a permanent residence in New York City. 

They also have houses in London and in Gloucestershire, and spend their summers in Harbour Island, Bahamas, and their winters in Gstaad, Switzerland, where Prince Pavlos proposed to Marie-Chantal on a chairlift in 1994.

Constantine has since made a name for himself as a painter and sculptor living in New York City, as well as a model for luxury fashion brand Dior Homme men’s line.

These days, his Instagram is filled with snaps of his lavish world travels, from scuba diving to riding motorcycles to sledding down the Cresta Run in St. Moritz, Switzerland.

A frequent face on the list of most eligible bachelors in the world, it’s no wonder that his dating history has also made headlines.

Most recently, Constantine sparked rumors with Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader when they attended the Rhode Island wedding of Olivia Culpo and NFL star Christian McCaffrey in June 2024.

But it was his relationship with English socialite Poppy Delevingne, who is 12 years his senior, that seemed to win the seal of approval from his close-knit family.

While speculation swirled in late 2022 that the pair were dating, they didn’t confirm their romance until February 2023, when they were seen holding hands on a stroll throughout London.

They enjoyed a romantic getaway to Ibiza in August that year, as photos captured them kissing on a yacht and enjoying a relaxing swim in the water.

She attended Wimbledon with his sister Olympia that summer, and even joined his family on their holiday to Greece.

At the time, Poppy shared a smiling snap of Constantine with his mom Marie-Chantal at dinner to her Instagram Story. 

She also documented the family trip with a black-and-white photo of Olympia sitting on a motorcycle with her younger brother, Prince Achileas-Andreas, and his then-girlfriend Isabella Massenet.

But just over a year after their romance was revealed, Poppy and Constantine decided to call it quits, as a source previously told the Daily Mail, ‘They are just at different stages of their life. There is no animosity.’

Despite their split, Poppy remains close to Olympia – having gone on their own girls’ trip to Ibiza and attending Milan Fashion Week together in September last year.

That’s why it may take some time before Constantine’s new rumored girlfriend is introduced to his aristocratic family, though Olympia and Madelyn already follow each other on Instagram.
