MAGA turns on Kash Patel for taking FBI jet to see girlfriend

Kash Patel passionately defended his country singer girlfriend, Alexis Wilkins, following allegations that he misused an FBI aircraft to attend her performance at a wrestling event in Pennsylvania.

In a strong social media statement on Sunday, the 45-year-old FBI Director denounced his detractors as “uninformed internet anarchists” while standing by Wilkins, who sang the national anthem at the event.

“The baseless and shameful accusations against Alexis—who is a true patriot and the woman I proudly call my partner—are utterly pathetic,” Patel asserted.

He praised her as a steadfast conservative and a rising star in country music, emphasizing her contributions to the nation, which he claims surpass those of many others. “I am immensely grateful to have her in my life,” he added.

Patel further stated, “Attacking her is not only wrong but also cowardly, putting our safety at risk. My devotion to family is my foundation, and nothing will break that bond or keep me away from them,” he concluded.

Patel’s spokesperson, Ben Williamson, also defended him, saying his trips pale in comparison to the money spent by former FBI chiefs James Comey and Christopher Wray. He also claimed Patel pays a reimbursement in advance.

‘He’s allowed to take personal time on occasion to see family, friends or his longtime girlfriend. He doesn’t do it often,’ Williamson said.

However, many have criticized Patel over the flight, with former FBI agent Kyle Seraphin roasting him earlier this week in a post that satirized him as ‘KA$H.’

‘Dear FBI Employees: I’m sorry the government ISN’T funded, so you won’t be getting a paycheck,’ Seraphin wrote. ‘Luckily, that doesn’t stop Real American Freestyle WRESTLING! So I flew the FBI jet to State College PA, hung out with my chick, and then flew to Nashville where she lives.’

Conservative commenter Candace Owens eviscerated Patel on Sunday night for his verbose rant.

‘I don’t care about Alexis one way or another but I want to point out that the head of the FBI is tweeting out in defense of his girlfriend. Not a wife but a girlfriend,’ Owens wrote on X. ‘We are just not a serious nation whatsoever.’

In a possible warning to his enemies in the Trump administration, Patel finished his message with: ‘And to our supposed allies staying silent – your silence is louder than the clickbait haters.’

Attorney General Pam Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche have been at odds with Patel.

MSNBC reported that Bondi and Blanche believe the spy head acted prematurely by sharing details of an investigation into an alleged ‘potential act of terror’ in Michigan. The conspirators turned out to be gamers.

Before he posted the defense of his girlfriend, Patel had been so furious about the backlash that he fired senior official Steven Palmer, Bloomberg reported.

Palmer was a 27-year veteran of the bureau who handled crisis management.

Multiple people familiar with the situation said that Steven Palmer’s ouster was directly connected to the negative reporting on the jet use, with the FBI telling him he could either resign or be fired.

The Daily Mail has reached out to the FBI for comment.

The 26-year-old Wilkins has been a subject of fascination during Patel’s rocky tenure at the bureau.

Angry MAGA critics have accused her of being involved in the Trump administration’s ‘cover-up’ of the Epstein files.

Online conspiracies gained traction falsely claiming that Wilkins – who is a devout Christian – is actually a Jewish Mossad spy.

She has been accused of being a ‘honeypot,’ a spy who uses romantic tactics or sexual relationships to influence actions or compromise targets with access to intelligence.

Their 19-year age gap fueled the tin foil hat conspiracy which she fiercely denied.

She told the Daily Mail in August it would have been a ‘huge long-game’ since she was dating Patel for years before he became FBI director.

Wilkins said that the redirection of attacks has been so harmful she’s had to censor out the word ‘honeypot’ from her social media comments.

‘I’ve blocked the word “honeypot” from my Instagram comments, if that tells you anything,’ Wilkins told the Daily Mail.

The country singer stood by Patel’s side at his swearing-in ceremony. Dressed elegantly in an all-white gown, she impressed attendees with her grace and warmth.

Patel, meanwhile, used his speech to reflect on his journey as a first-generation Indian American achieving the American Dream.

Addressing the media, he remarked, ‘You have written everything you possibly can about me that is fake, malicious, slanderous and defamatory. Keep it coming, bring it on and leave the men and women in the FBI out of it.’

Wilkins spoke fondly of Patel, highlighting his loyalty and kindness.

‘Everything else — political — aside, this man is the most loyal, the most kind, the most caring person… I’m gonna cry,’ she said  to the media before Patel kissed her forehead.

She recalled a conversation with former President Trump, who asked, ‘Kash is loyal, right?’ — to which she confidently responded, ‘Yes.’

The couple first met at a ReAwaken America event in October 2022 and began dating in January 2023.

Their relationship, now over two years strong, has sparked intrigue among MAGA supporters, with online searches about Patel’s relationship status surging during his confirmation hearing.

The pair planned to move to DC together but Wilkins didn’t leave her country music career behind.

While she has taken a role as press secretary for Rep. Abe Hamadeh (R-Ariz.), she plans to split her time between D.C. and Nashville, keeping her place in the heart of the country music scene.

Raised primarily in Arkansas, Wilkins also spent parts of her childhood in England and Switzerland.

A Nashville-based independent artist, she has shared the stage with country legends like Lee Greenwood, Sara Evans, Joe Nichols, Aaron Lewis, Curtis Grimes and RaeLynn.

Her Veteran’s Day single Stand and debut EP Grit both landed in the iTunes Top 10. Passionate about veterans’ causes, she works with Warrior Rounds, a group that collaborates with veterans to create music, and frequently performs at VA hospitals.

Beyond music, Wilkins has become a rising conservative voice.

She has spoken at Young America’s Foundation (YAF) events, appeared at the Reagan Ranch, and collaborated with the John Wayne Cancer Foundation.

She’s also a speaker and media personality for PragerU, hosts the Between the Headlines podcast on Rumble, and is involved with the NRA Country program, which connects country artists with Second Amendment supporters.

With her expanding influence in both politics and entertainment, Wilkins is set to make waves in D.C. — and she and Patel seem more committed than ever to their future together.
