A man in Arizona was arrested and slapped with federal charges after allegedly threatening to execute a Scottsdale rabbi along with ‘every other JEW’ he could find.

The Justice Department announced on Monday charges against 50-year-old Jeffrey Mindock, a Tempe resident who allegedly sent an email last Friday morning to the rabbi asking that he convince a Utah judge to drop charges against him.

‘If you do not use your influence to right this wrong I will execute you and every other JEW [sic] I can find tonight at midnight of your Sabbath,’ he allegedly wrote.

‘If you wish to communicate with me further, I will only meet in person.’

The subject line of the email read: ‘HITLER WAS RIGHT RABBI,’ according to the criminal complaint. The sender also referenced the ongoing bloody conflict in the middle east.

‘As I have watched the atrocities unfolding in Palestine, I have come to the realization that YOU people are to blame for everything evil in this world,’ wrote the man.

‘Zionist Jews control everything from the courts to the banks to the media. We both know that you are in control.’

Mindock, according to prosecutors has a history of threatening behavior. They say he previously sent an email to a judge threatening to ‘hang’ him.

In a 2021 court appearance, he said he would ‘execute’ people, adding that he knew ‘how to make bombs.’

He additionally called Ted Kaczynski – the unabomber – ‘his hero.’

Mindock was appointed a public defender on Monday during his initial court appearance.

He is yet to enter a plea and is being held prior to a detention hearing, for which a date has not yet been set.

United States Attorney Gary Restaino – whose office is prosecuting Mindock – said that ‘civic engagement and civil dialogue help bind us together as a Nation.’

‘We have no tolerance for those who send threatening communications to Jewish faith leaders or to any other people in America. We will continue to exercise our prosecutorial discretion and deploy our resources to charge threats cases here in Arizona.’

The FBI investigated the hate with the assistance of the Tempe Police Department and the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
