() A man is in police custody after police said he destroyed a community memorial for conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Sunday.

Ryder Corral, 19, was arrested around 10 a.m. local time outside the Phoenix headquarters of Turning Point USA, a youth political organization co-founded by Kirk.

Video footage shows a man, identified by police as Corral, kicking over flowers, vases and other items left by mourners. Another person can be seen yanking him to the ground, restraining him until officers took him into custody.

Many events honoring Kirk, who was assassinated last week, took place over the weekend. Police were already in the area assisting with traffic control due to the large foot traffic following Kirk’s death.

The shooting suspect, Tyler Robinson, was arrested 33 hours after the incident on Utah Valley University’s campus. He was seen on surveillance video wearing a long-sleeve black T-shirt with an American flag and eagle logo printed on the front. Corral, who has no known connection to Robinson, was wearing a short-sleeve black T-shirt with a similar logo.

Corral faces charges of criminal damage, trespassing and disorderly conduct, according to a Phoenix Police Department news release.
