BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. — A Starke man faces several charges after the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) said he was responsible for “multiple burglaries throughout the county.”

Deputies said Brandon Adrian Nelson, 31, stole over $20,000 worth of tools and construction materials and caused more than $10,000 worth of damage.

Nelson was charged with five counts of grand theft, three counts of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance unarmed, three counts of dealing in stolen property, trespassing a posted construction site and misdemeanor unarmed criminal mischief property damage.

“Through meticulous investigation, hard work, and dedication, they identified a key suspect and gathered crucial evidence,” the post said. “The detectives’ efforts involved reviewing surveillance footage, conducting interviews, and analyzing crime patterns to pinpoint the suspect.”

BCSO said detectives were able to recover some of the stolen items.
