KEY LARGO, Fla. — A 33-year-old Key Largo man was arrested Tuesday and charged with the murder of a 43-year-old woman found dead in a resort hotel room. 

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the Amoray Dive Resort in Key Largo around 11 a.m., searching for missing Nadyne Marie Tillman, a woman from the Upper Keys. Deputies said a family member had contacted police, saying she had not heard from Tillman since Saturday morning. 

Investigators discovered that Tillman met Lamb at the resort Saturday morning. Tillman’s body was later found hidden in Lamb’s room “with injuries consistent with being beaten,” the sheriff’s office said. 

Deputies found Lamb and arrested him in Key Largo. 

“I want to thank the men and women of the sheriff’s office for working around the clock to make an arrest in this case,” Sheriff Rick Ramsay said. 

Ramsay added that the investigation into Tillman’s death will continue, and added there does not appear to be any other individual involved in the incident.
