Margot Robbie made a dazzling appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of “Wuthering Heights,” where she was joined by her dashing co-star, Jacob Elordi. The event took place on Wednesday night, capturing the attention of many as Robbie donned one of Elizabeth Taylor’s most renowned pieces of jewelry.

The 35-year-old Oscar nominee stars as Catherine Earnshaw in Emerald Fennell’s provocative R-rated film adaptation of Emily Brontë’s timeless novel. Alongside her, Elordi, who is 28, steps into the role of the brooding Heathcliff, adding an intriguing dynamic to the film’s cast.

The premiere, hosted at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre, saw Robbie gracing the red carpet in a stunning couture gown crafted by Schiaparelli. Her attire was nothing short of spectacular, yet it was the legendary Taj Mahal diamond necklace, once belonging to Elizabeth Taylor, that truly captivated onlookers.

Valued at an astonishing $8 million, the heart-shaped pendant was elegantly positioned high on Robbie’s neck, with its gold chain cascading gracefully down her back. This exquisite piece not only highlighted her ensemble but also paid homage to Taylor’s enduring legacy in the world of glamour and luxury.

The vintage necklace paired beautifully with Robbie’s couture gown, which featured a strapless nude illusion bodice with black lace. 

The skirt of the dress hugged the Australian beauty’s hips before flaring out to create a dramatic mermaid-style silhouette.

The skirt was made of black velvet fabric, which faded to a deep red shade – a nod to the film’s moody color palette – towards the lower half of the dress.

Robbie’s blonde hair was styled in a romantic bun with curled strands left out to frame her face.

The mother-of-one had a noticeable red flush to her cheeks while her lips were painted a rosy-nude tone.

As for her eye makeup, Robbie kept it extremely minimal with just a wash of brown on the lids and a light application of mascara on her lashes.

After getting in her stunning solo shots, Robbie reunited with her onscreen lover Elordi.

The duo, who have admitted to being ‘obsessed’ with one another, sent fans into a frenzy by holding hands at the star-studded event.

Elordi towered over the Barbie star in a chic all-black outfit that included a boxy blazer, a button-up shirt and high-waisted trousers.

While the chemistry between Robbie and Elordi is palpable, both of the A-list stars happen to be in relationships.

Robbie has been married to film producer Tom Ackerley, 35, since 2016, with whom she shares a one-year-old boy. 

The couple co-founded the production company LuckyChap Entertainment, which produced Wuthering Heights.

Ackerley stood proudly beside his superstar wife at Wednesday’s premiere in a classic black tuxedo. 

Meanwhile, Elordi has been in an on/off romance with Full House star Lori Loughlin’s look-alike daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli, 26, since 2021.

Unlike Robbie’s better half, Giannulli did not appear to attend the premiere. 

Earlier this week, Robbie raised eyebrows when she gifted Elordi a stunning matching signet ring.

Each of the beautiful rings features an image of two skeletons embracing, and the words ‘Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.’

They are also both engraved with the initials of Cathy and Heathcliff- the doomed lovers played by Robbie and Elordi in the film.

Another feature is the inscription ‘1847-2026’, a reference to the year that saw the publication of Brontë’s classic novel – and the release of the new Wuthering Heights film.

While Elordi appeared to be wearing his ring from Robbie at the LA premiere, the blonde beauty’s hand placement made it difficult to tell if she was wearing hers.

Wuthering Heights director Emerald Fennell was also in attendance as she graced the red carpet in a plunging black gown.

Charli xcx, who created an original soundtrack for Wuthering Heights, put on a busty display in a glimmering gold corset gown.

The Grammy-winner’s frock had exaggerated hips and a frilly tulle overlay, adding to the jaw-dropping drama of the look.

She wore her jet black hair down, letting it fall down her back in waves.

Hong Chau, who stars alongside Elordi and Robbie as Elly Dean in the upcoming R-rated feature, turned heads in a gray plaid strapless dress layered over a blue gingham print shirt.

The actress, 46, who has appeared in acclaimed films like The Whale (2022) and Downsizing (2017), stood on blue heels with white ankle straps. 

Cara Delevingne flaunted her ultra tiny waist in a purple and black corset top styled with a sparkly black velvet skirt that matched her opera gloves.

The supermodel, 33, accessorized with a sexy choker necklace and added height to her already statuesque frame with sky-high heels. 

Reese Witherspoon’s mini-me daughter Ava Phillippe stunned onlookers in a flirty black and white polkadot dress.

Robbie and Elordi play lovers Catherine and Heathcliff in the highly-anticipated romance drama, produced by Robbie and her production company LuckyChap Entertainment.

Just days ago, Robbie confessed to being ‘codependent’ with her handsome costar.

‘I’m so codependent with people I work with and I love everyone so much and I’m always that person who’s so devastated when a job’s over and I never want it to end. I think I developed that quite quickly with Jacob too,’ she said during an interview with Fandango.

‘I don’t know if Emerald told you to do this or you did this,’ she said while addressing Elordi, ‘but I remember the first couple days on set, he would just be always in the vicinity where I was, but like in a corner, watching Cathy.’

‘I didn’t tell him to do that,’ Fennell, 40, chimed in as the cast laughed. ‘I actually had to ask him to leave.’

By the third day of filming Robbie said she found herself ‘starting to look around to see where he was.’

When Elordi was not around, she said she felt ‘really unnerved and unmoored. And I felt quite lost, like a kid without their blanket or something.’

Meanwhile Elordi admitted they have a ‘mutual obsession’ with each other.

The Frankenstein actor gushed that he made sure he was no less than 10 meters away from the Barbie actress ‘at all times’.

‘We have a mutual obsession,’ he said during the interview, as Robbie sat nearby.

‘I think the thing is, regardless of plot or screenplay, if you have the opportunity to share a film set with Margot Robbie, you’re going to make sure you’re within 5 to 10 meters at all times.’

‘Watching how she drinks tea, how she eats her food, how she does it. When is it going to slip? When is the thing going to come undone? And, it never comes undone,’ he added.

Earlier this week, the onscreen lovebirds appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live where they spoke about there being ‘a lot of sex’ in the film versus the book.

‘Is there that much sex in the book?’ Kimmel questioned, to which Robbie replied that her character Catherine Earnshaw and Elordi’s Heathcliff ‘never even really kissed’ in the novel.

‘Wow, you guys do,’ Kimmel cheekily replied. ‘Yeah, we kiss a lot,’ the Barbie star – who previously said she became ‘codependent’ with Elordi – concurred while smiling.

‘All over the property,’ Kimmel added, to which the blonde beauty said, ‘We kiss everywhere, yeah, a lot of kissing.’
