Like mother, like daughter.

Mariska Hargitay paid tribute to her mother, Jayne Mansfield, by donning a beaded suit inspired by the iconic actress during her recent appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”

The popular “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” actress added her own stylish touch to a gown worn by Mansfield back in 1958, opting for a timeless black suit adorned with silver beads.

She finished her look with a pair of black pumps and wore her hair styled in loose curls.

“I like the little bobbles there, they’re very nice,” Colbert remarked, highlighting the embellishments.

“It’s a little homage,” Hargitay responded, adding that her mom wore a “dress just like this at the Cannes Film Festival.”

During the film festival of 1958, Mansfield, known for her sex symbol status in the late 1950s and early 1960s, had worn a similar beaded black dress paired with a black fur stole, long dangling earrings, and clear mules with embellishments along with her husband Mickey Hargitay.

Mansfield also wore white gloves and styled her blond hair in her signature bouffante.

Hargitay, 61, has been promoting her new documentary about her late mother, “My Mom Jayne,” which premiered at the same film festival in May.

“The photos of her, in Cannes in particular, were always so meaningful to me because of how free and happy and in love she was with my father,” Hargitay told Deadline at the premiere, noting that the pictures “seared this emotional place” in her memory.

“To be here, to bring her back here, and to tell her story was quite meaningful,” she continued.

The film icon tragically died at age 34 in a car crash in 1967. Hargitay, who was also in the vehicle, was three years old.

Along with the story of her mother’s life, Hargitay also revealed the shocking family secret she had kept for more than 30 years in the film, which marks her directorial debut.

The star admitted that Mickey Hargitay, who many have believed to be her father, is not her biological parent and that Italian singer Nelson Sardelli is her real dad.

Mariska’s mom filed for divorce from Mickey in 1963. The late Playboy playmate then became involved in a romance with the singer and soon found herself pregnant with Mariska.

“He was my everything, my idol. He loved me so much, and I knew it,” she told Vanity Fair last month of her upbringing with Mickey.

“My Mom Jayne” is set to premiere on HBO and HBO Max June 27.
