Mass shooting Texas flea market leaves at least five injured

At least five people including some under the age of 18 have been shot at a Texas flea market on Sunday afternoon – and the gunman is still on the run.

Police said that the shooter opened fire at the Cole’s Antique Village & Flea Market in Pearland, near Houston, off North Main Street just south of the Beltway. 

It is not known what led up to the shooting. All five people who were shot were taken to local area hospitals. Their conditions were not immediately known. 

The Houston Police Department and Harris County Precinct 2 Constable’s are assisting Pearland Police in the response. No description of the gunman has yet been released.

Pearland Police said the area is still an active scene and have asked the public to stay away from the area.
