Matt Damon nearly went overboard while holding onto his beer as he stepped onto a dinghy during a lively outing in Ibiza for his friend Chris Hemsworth’s birthday.

Fortunately, the Oscar winner, 54, was assisted by a friend who helped keep him steady, preventing him from falling into the Mediterranean Ocean fully clothed.

As the near-incident unfolded, Liam Hemsworth, 35, watched with a smile from the dock as the Good Will Hunting star scrambled to safely return to the boat.

The Lonely Planet star looked buff in a white tank top, which showcased his muscular arms, and a pair of black shorts.  

Damon was dressed in a black golf shirt and a pair tan khakis for his outing at Casa Jondal.

The Instigators star and his famous friends were celebrating Chris’ 42nd birthday and brought plenty of liquid refreshment to let the good times roll.

Waititi raised eyebrows with his seemingly tone-deaf t-shirt, which read: ‘Working class hero.’

His shirt made a rather unusual statement considering the luxurious setting.

Taika, who Celebrity Net Worth reports has a net worth of $13 million, basked in the Ibiza sun as he rubbed elbows with A-listers including Chris, Matt Damon, and Chris’ brother Liam Hemsworth.

The filmmaker was joined by his wife, Rita Ora, 34, who also reportedly has a net worth of $30 million.

Taika has clearly remained friends with the birthday boy since directing him in Thor: Raganarok and Thor: Love and Thunder.

Meanwhile, Ora, 34, showcased her shapely form in a plumb toned bikini top with some see sheer white and gold leggings, with a leather belt at her hips. 

Her reddish brown locks were styled in loose waves and she accessorized with a turquoise pendant on a long silver chain and thick hoop earrings.

However, the actor’s representative later denied this, telling the Associated Press: ‘He’s not moving out of the U.S.’
