Friends … how many of us have them?

Matt Damon showed his support for his friend Ben Affleck at the movie premiere at SXSW, following a public reaction from Affleck’s ex, Jennifer Lopez, over pictures of him with Jennifer Garner.

According to an eyewitness speaking to Page Six, Matt Damon made his entrance at the premiere of “The Accountant 2” at the Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas, separately from Affleck.

Damon arrived in a black SUV just a few moments before his fellow actor, along with Jon Bernthal, who arrived in a Ford pick-up truck with an Airstream attached to the back.

Page Six obtained exclusive video of Affleck with his arm around Bernthal, 48, as they posed for pictures near screaming fans.

The “Gone Girl” star, 52, then headed to the red carpet, where he took a few snaps with Damon, 54, and talked about why they made such a great team.

“It’s a beautiful thing. You know, I don’t have very many — none of us really have very many friends,” he told People.

“You don’t need a million friends. You need a few good ones. And I’m really lucky to have had a friend in Matt. … I’m lucky to have friends like that in my life.”

Affleck’s appearance at SXSW comes a week after he was seen getting close with his first ex-wife, Garner, during a paintball outing with their kids at the Combat Paintball Park in Castaic, Calif.

According to photos obtained by Page Six, the dad of three grabbed the “13 Going on 30” actress, also 52, around her waist as she focused her paintball gun on a target.

The exes stayed close on the field while their son, Samuel, 12, went off with his friends. (It’s unclear whether their other kids, Violet, 19, and Seraphina, 16, were also there.)

Affleck was seen smiling from ear to ear as he and Garner conversed.

Page Six exclusively reported that Affleck’s second ex-wife, Lopez, was “furious” over the photos of the “Daredevil” co-stars together.

A source told us the “Selena” actress, 55, was “not happy with constantly seeing photos” of her ex-husband and Garner together.

The insider added that the affectionate snaps have been like “salt in the wound.”

Though a separate source told Page Six Affleck “would definitely be open to giving things another shot with [Garner] if the timing is ever right,” she is not interested in rekindling the flame.

An insider told us that the “Elektra” star is “happy” with her boyfriend, John Miller, and “that’s just not where her head is at.”

Affleck and Garner tied the knot in 2005 and divorced in 2018.

Meanwhile, Lopez filed for divorce from her “Gigli” co-star in August 2024 after two years of marriage.

Their divorce was settled in January.

“The Accountant 2” hits theaters in April 2025.
