Out with the old and in with the new.
Meghan Markle and Jessica Alba welcomed “fresh starts” at Kerry Washington’s birthday on Friday.
The Duchess of Sussex, who is 43, and the star of “Honey,” aged 46, recently appeared in a TikTok video posted by the latter. The video showed them coming together for a spiritual ceremony to celebrate the 48th birthday of the “Scandal” actress.
“Happy Born Day to my girl #KerryWashington 🥳🎂,” Alba captioned the clip. “There’s nothing like that fill your cup type of #girls night 💗.”
“Under the New Moon in Aquarius, we came together for a beautiful ceremony led by Jill, founder of @Spirit Daughter 🌑✨,” she then began to explain.
In the video, the actress mentions that new moons symbolize fresh beginnings. The gathering was an opportunity for them to connect, manifest their desires, and let go of anything that may be holding them back. She expressed gratitude for the experience and hoped for more such nights in the future.
There is a moment in the video where Alba carries plates of doughnuts with candles, resembling a birthday cake. As she passes by Markle, who is seated with other women at a long table, they sing “Happy Birthday” to honor the occasion.
The royal also appeared to take part in the new moon ceremony. The group of ladies was shown in the video sitting together on the floor while holding crystals and meditating.
Alba also showed clips of herself and other women writing about their “intentions” in a journal and sitting at the table for a dimly-lit dinner.
The “Fantastic Four” star appear to be leaning on her gal pals as of late after confirming her split from husband Cash Warren last month.
In January, Alba gave a glimpse into her “best girls trip” to New York City with an Instagram post saying her “heart and belly [were] full.”
She also revealed at the time that she took her “big baby girl” — referencing her 16-year-old daughter, Honor — on the trip for “one on one” time.
Alba officially announced she and Warren, 46, were separating on Jan. 22 after multiple reports claimed the couple had broken up.
She said in a statement that they had “been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years.”
“We’ve grown in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals,” the actress added at the time.
Warren and Alba first started dating in 2004. They tied the knot four years later. In addition to daughter Honor, they share two other children: daughter Haven, 13, and son Hayes, 7.
Markle, for her part, has been married to Prince Harry since 2018. The Duke of Sussex, who shares two kids with the “Suits” alum, recently brushed off rumors that they were also headed for divorce.
