Meghan Markle made a stylish entrance in Melbourne, stepping off the plane in chic Dior heels.

The 44-year-old Duchess of Sussex began her four-day Australian itinerary on Tuesday, marking her first joint visit with Prince Harry since their 2018 royal tour.

During the morning, Markle visited Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital and later made a solo visit to McAuley Community Services for Women. There, she rolled up her sleeves, donned an apron, and served lunch to the residents of the shelter, which supports victims of domestic violence and homelessness. She chose to wear a navy Karen Gee Priscilla dress, priced at $892, adorned with gold double-breasted buttons.

This fashion choice echoed her first appearance in Australia eight years ago when she also wore a design by Sydney-based Karen Gee. According to a statement from the designer, Markle “personally selected” pieces for this tour from the collection.

Complementing her ensemble, the former “Suits” actress opted for her dependable black leather Dior pumps, a favorite she has frequently showcased over the past few years.

As for jewelry, Markle wore a Cartier Tank Française watch (the current model retails for $26,200), a piece believed to have been passed from Diana to Prince William and then traded to Harry in exchange for the late princess’ sapphire engagement ring. Markle has worn the heirloom timepiece regularly since 2020.

She stacked the watch with her own yellow gold Cartier Love bracelet ($6,630). Real Fine Studio’s gold Puffy Hearts earrings ($780) completed the look.

For the day’s final engagement at the Australian National Veterans Arts Museum (ANVAM) in Southbank, Markle went for a thematic olive-and-khaki palette: a St. Agni suede bomber ($1,000) and matching suede skirt ($890) layered over a taupe P.Johnson Annie top ($220).

She accessorized with nude Aquazzura Purist Pump 105 heels ($650) and Real Fine Studio diamond Signature Studs (from $990). The Cartier wrist stack stayed put.

Between Karen Gee, St. Agni, P.Johnson and Real Fine Studio Markle championed four Australian designers across two day-one looks — a strategy she’s employed on past trips abroad, spotlighting local fashion talent wherever she lands.

Searches for Gee skyrocketed over 5,800 percent after Markle wore the brand’s “Blessed” dress on the 2018 trip shortly after announcing her pregnancy.

The tour continues through Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney, with engagements focused on mental health, veterans’ support and community resilience.
