Mexican man sentenced to 18 months in prison for illegal re-entry following deportation

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – A man has been handed an 18-month prison sentence for unlawfully returning to the United States following deportation, as announced by U.S. Attorney Prim Escalona on Monday.

Eberardo Peralta-Cazales, a 34-year-old from Mexico, received this sentence after admitting guilt to the charge of illegal re-entry after being deported.
