Mia Goth is reportedly urging her former partner, Shia LaBeouf, to enter rehab following his recent arrest during a bar brawl at Mardi Gras.
According to TMZ, sources close to the “Frankenstein” actress, who ended her marriage with LaBeouf nearly a year ago, are encouraging him to address his alcohol issues.
Those familiar with the situation indicate that the actor’s troubling behavior has persisted privately for many years.
Despite their separation, insiders reveal to the outlet that Goth, now 32, continues to care for LaBeouf, 39, and hopes he remains involved in the life of their 3-year-old daughter, Isabel.
Page Six was the first to disclose that the couple, who wed in 2016, quietly parted ways almost a year ago.
They’ve had an on-again, off-again relationship for years since first meeting in 2012 on the set of Nymphomaniac: Vol. II.”
According to TMZ, the police were called multiple times to their LA home before they called it quits.
Reps for Goth and LaBeouf did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The “Even Stevens” alum was arrested Tuesday after getting involved in a heated bar brawl while celebrating Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
As Page Six confirmed, he was taken to Orleans Parish Prison in Louisiana and charged with two counts of simple battery.
Though, he wasn’t behind bars for long.
After he was released, LaBeouf went right back to partying and at one point, he poked fun at his arrest by dancing with his jail paperwork in his mouth.
Page Six obtained exclusive photos of the actor going on a run and then attempting to attend church on Ash Wednesday following the arrest.
According to the official police report, which was published by TMZ Thursday, the Disney Channel alum allegedly hurled gay slurs at the two men he was fighting on Tuesday morning.
LaBeouf is said to have called the two men “f—–s” as he continued throwing punches at them — and he didn’t stop there. He continued to yell the slurs at the men when police arrived to investigate the matter.
“These f—–s put me in jail,” LaBeouf said, according to the report. “I’m a Catholic.”
During the altercation LaBeouf was seen on camera head-butting one of the men, who, according to the report, was left with a possibly dislocated nose.
Following his arrest the actor tweeted, “Free me.”
