Mark your calendars for November 2, as ABC airs a special edition of “20/20” titled “Michelle Obama: The Style, The Power, The Look – A Conversation with Robin Roberts.”

In this revealing dialogue, Robin Roberts, co-anchor of “Good Morning America,” engages with former First Lady Michelle Obama, exploring the transformative role fashion has played throughout her life. The program, “Michelle Obama: The Style, The Power, The Look,” delves into how Obama’s sartorial choices have empowered her journey, from crafting her own prom dress to her historic tenure as the first Black First Lady of the United States.

Filmed at Marymount University in Virginia, the conversation offers insights into how style has shaped Obama’s identity and public persona. This special arrives just before the launch of her new book, “The Look,” which chronicles her fashion evolution since stepping into the spotlight.

The program also features insights from her trusted style team, including stylist Meredith Koop, makeup artist Carl Ray, and hairstylists Yene Damtew and Njeri Radway. Renowned designers Diane von Furstenberg, Jason Wu, Tracy Reese, and Narciso Rodriguez, along with fashion experts, also contribute their perspectives on Obama’s iconic style.

The special airs Sunday, November 2 on ABC and streams the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of ABC, Disney+, Hulu and this ABC station.
