Mick Jagger’s longtime partner, Melanie Hamrick, confirmed the couple quietly got engaged.

In an interview with Paris Match published on Wednesday, the former ballerina, aged 37, revealed that the Rolling Stones frontman, aged 81, had proposed “two or three years” ago.

However, Hamrick said she and Jagger are not in a rush to walk down the aisle.

“Maybe one day we’ll marry, maybe not. We are so happy in our current life that I would be too afraid to change anything,” she confessed to the magazine.

The pair, who have a nearly 44-year age gap, crossed paths in 2014 while Jagger was touring with his iconic rock band in Japan, where Hamrick was traveling with the American Ballet Theatre.

They welcomed a son named Deveraux — the Grammy winner’s eighth child — in 2016.

Jagger and Hamrick first sparked engagement rumors in 2023 when she was seen wearing a diamond ring, though the “First Position” author played coy at the time.

“I mean, I have to giggle because did Mick give me the ring? Yes. Is it for that finger? Yes,” she told People.

“But are we, like, horny teenagers where we’re giving each other…? In my mind, it’s a promise ring. We’ll be immature and call it a promise ring.”

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member has only been married once, to Bianca Jagger from 1971 to 1978, with whom he shares daughter Jade Jagger, 53.

He previously dated Marianne Faithfull, Jerry Hall and L’Wren Scott.

Mick is also the father of daughters Karis Jagger, 54, Elizabeth Jagger, 41, and Georgia May Jagger, 33, as well as sons James Jagger, 39, Gabriel Jagger, 27, and Lucas Jagger, 25.
