Motocross star Haiden Deegan, 19, was arrested on Friday for street racing and stunt driving.

Deegan, who is the son of X Games legend Brian Deegan, was reportedly seen performing ‘donuts’ in a lane of travel at a sports complex in Florida, as stated by the police.

He was booked into jail by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office in Florida just after 11 pm.

Deegan posted $1,000 bond and was released nearly two hours after he was booked. The motocross star’s car is expected to be impounded for 30 days.

He was charged with a misdemeanor crime in violation of the state’s street racing law.

A first offense is punishable by up to a year in jail, a fine of $2,000, and a one-year driver’s license suspension.

The law bans street takeovers, unsanctioned drag racing, drifting, wheelies, burnouts, and donuts.

The police officer who made the arrest also discovered counterfeit driver’s licenses, one of which indicated a false birth year suggesting the individual was 21, according to the arrest report.

‘It is important to mention that the Deputy informed me that Haiden was courteous throughout the entire interaction. This is one of the reasons why he was not charged with possession of the fake IDs, a felony in Florida,’ stated Public Information Officer Corey Dobridnia to Dailymail.com.

It seems like the young motocross star isn’t too phased by his recent arrest, poking fun at himself for the mugshot on social media.

Deegan shared a photo of his mugshot and booking history on his Instagram Story and captioned it, ‘Certified stunt driver [crying emoji]’ set to the song Bad Boys by Inner Circle.

In response to a reporter’s tweet about his arrest, Deegan shared an image of himself photoshopped in front of a jail cell while lounging on the couch and wrote, ‘we vibin in cellblock 1.’

His followers also seemed to find humor in the arrest, with one comment reading, ‘Ain’t nothing wrong with a little fun…’

Another comment called the post ‘legendary,’ while other followers pleaded with Deegan to drop a merchandise line with his mugshot.

Deegan had just finished an impressive racing streak, finishing third in a race in Indianapolis on March 8. In February, he won a race in Arlington and placed second in a race held in Glendale.

He is scheduled to race in the Supercross Seattle on Saturday, March 29, and is participating in Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing.

Deegan is from Temecula, California, and started professionally racing three years ago, following in his father, Brian Deegan’s footsteps.

Brian is a 14-time X Games medalist and passed down the love of the sport to his son, and his daughter, Hailie.

The racing family has a YouTube channel called The Deegans, which has over 1,000 videos and 1.4 million subscribers.

Deegan has amassed his own social media following with almost 2 million followers on Instagram.
