A notable tech entrepreneur has reportedly leased the Horizon Estate at 1853 Bel Air Road for a staggering $195,000 monthly. This makes it one of the most expensive residential rentals ever recorded in this exclusive enclave, which counts celebrated figures like Jennifer Aniston and The Weeknd among its residents.
Rentals nearing the $200,000 mark per month are exceedingly rare. The last instance, as cited by a 2020 Forbes report, was at 10979 Chalon Road, which also commanded $200,000 monthly.
But what exactly is on offer for this $195,000-a-month price tag? The estate is an impressive 20,500 square feet, sprawling across three levels on 1.4 acres. It boasts breathtaking canyon and ocean views, nine lavish bedrooms, a resort-style pool and spa, a private gym, a theater, a wine lounge, and vast entertainment areas.
Shawn Elliott and Michael Rodgers from Nest Seekers International were responsible for the listing. Elliott remarked, “The ultra-luxury market remains very strong, and this rental reflects continued confidence and spending power at the very top of the market. Exceptional properties like this one continue to command premium pricing.”

Adds Rodgers: “Ultra-prime rentals in Bel Air are driven by scarcity. When a property combines acreage, privacy, views and resort-level amenities, it can command pricing few homes in Los Angeles can achieve.”
Elliott and Rodgers aren’t revealing the identity of Bel-Air’s newest billionaire neighbor.
