Authorities are in the process of returning Nancy Guthrie’s residence near Tucson to her family, as reported by NBC News on Wednesday.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona informed Fox News Digital that federal prosecutors were on site at the 84-year-old’s home on Wednesday to support the FBI in a “standard legal procedure.”
Throughout Wednesday afternoon, federal agents maintained a presence at the property, with multiple vehicles coming and going from the driveway during this time.

The missing person is the mother of Savannah Guthrie, an anchor for the “TODAY” show, and was reported missing on February 1.
