Former Miami Heat star Hassan Whiteside’s opulent waterfront mansion is once again available after a fourth attempt to sell the property since May went under contract.
The six-bedroom Miami Beach estate is now listed for $14.8 million—a significant drop from its original $19.5 million asking price in January 2025.
Set behind gates at 528 Lakeview Court, the luxury residence offers an array of amenities more commonly associated with a five-star resort.
Completed in 2014, the expansive home contains 5,406 square feet of living space on a 0.41-acre lot, along with approximately 90 feet of waterfront frontage.
Boaters can bypass Miami’s busy roads altogether, thanks to a 45-foot dock, three Jet Ski slips and direct access to the ocean.
The tri-level interior includes generous living and dining rooms, rich hardwood and marble flooring, custom cabinetry and a chef’s kitchen fitted with premium Wolf and Miele appliances.
A built-in aquarium adds another dramatic feature to the multimillion-dollar Miami Beach home.
The primary suite opens onto its own private terrace and features a spa-style bathroom plus an oversized walk-in closet.
Former Miami Heat star Hassan Whiteside’s lavish waterfront mansion is back in the running for a sale, after going under contract for the fourth time since May
Whiteside purchased the Miami Beach home in 2016 for $7.3 million, meaning the current asking price is more than double what he originally paid
For entertaining, the property comes with a state-of-the-art home theater, a gym, a custom bar and a rooftop lounge featuring a fire pit and television.
The outdoor spaces are equally elaborate. A resort-style pool with a waterfall, summer kitchen and several entertaining areas create an ideal setting for gatherings under the Florida sun.
The listing emphasizes the home’s gated grounds and secluded location in Miami Beach’s Lakeview neighborhood, away from the city’s busiest tourist areas.
Even with its extensive amenities, however, the luxury property has yet to reach a completed sale.
The mansion has reportedly entered contract four times since May, with the latest agreement representing another effort to finalize a deal.
Whiteside’s home first came to market for $19.5 million in January 2025. The price later fell to $15.8 million before being reduced again to the current $14.8 million.
The latest figure is roughly 24 percent below the original listing price, with any final negotiations potentially lowering the sale price further.
A weekly report from Douglas Elliman’s Eklund-Gomes team ranked the pending deal as the second-most expensive residential contract among 13 Miami-Dade County properties listed at $4 million or more between October 5 and October 11.
The six-bedroom Miami Beach property is asking a whopping $14.8 million, although its latest price tag is a considerable comedown from the $19.5 million it was listed for in January 2025

With waterfront views, boating access and Miami’s beaches, restaurants and shopping within reach, it combines a private residential setting with easy access to the action.
The location may have held particular appeal for Whiteside during his years playing for the Miami Heat. Now 37, the seven-foot center spent five seasons with the team between 2014 and 2019, establishing himself as a formidable presence in the paint.
He later played for the Portland Trail Blazers and Sacramento Kings before joining the Utah Jazz for his final NBA season in 2022.

Now, it seems, his Miami Beach mansion is hoping for a slam dunk of its own in the property market.
For a buyer with $14.8 million to spare, the prize is a private waterfront compound with a pool, cinema, rooftop entertaining space and room to dock the toys.
Whether the fourth time proves lucky remains to be seen, as the property is still under contract rather than officially sold.
