() A complaint was made about singer D4vd’s abandoned Tesla on Aug. 26, almost two weeks prior to the discovery of a missing teen’s decomposing body inside it, has learned.

Celeste Rivas-Hernandez’s body was found in the trunk of a Tesla Model X registered to viral singer D4vd on Sept. 8. She had been missing since April 2024, when she was just 13.

Private investigator Steve Fischer obtained the incident report and photos of D4vd’s Tesla resulting from when it was declared abandoned. He told “Banfield” on Friday that neighbors noticed the car had been parked in the same spot for a while.

D4vd’s neighbor believed car was there for ‘over a month’

Fischer told that when he spoke to neighbors of D4vd, one of them noted that they were “certain” the car had been there for “over a month.”

To be towed from a street where there were no parking restrictions, “it had to be there quite a while,” Fischer added.

Fischer also noted that the only identifying feature in the report was the dent on the car; there was no mention of the odor of a decomposing body.

D4vd’s Tesla was parked in ‘strategic area’ before it was towed

Fischer said D4vd’s car was parked about “150 feet” from the Hollywood Hills mansion where he was staying, in a “strategic area.”

He described the parking spot as a place where few people would walk by, and “as good a place to leave it as any.”

Following the police raid on his home Sept. 17, D4vd broke the $20,000-a-month lease on the mansion.

Following the discovery of Celeste’s body and the rumors regarding his connection to her, D4vd canceled all remaining dates of his “Withered” tour.

Timeline of car being reported and towed

According to the incident report, D4vd’s Tesla was initially reported “abandoned” to authorities Aug 26.

An officer inspected and cited the car initially Aug. 27. Another ticket was then issued Sept. 3, before ultimately being towed and impounded Sept. 5, three days before Celeste’s body was discovered.

Fischer explained that in Los Angeles, “a traffic officer has to come out at least three times” before they can tow a vehicle to document that it hasn’t moved in over 72 hours.

D4vd and Celeste were ‘romantically involved’ according to friends

TMZ senior news reporter Charlie Neff told “Banfield” on Thursday that friends of D4vd from the Los Angeles music scene revealed to her that he and Celeste were always together and “romantically involved.”

The friends added that they were under the impression that Celeste was a student at the University of Southern California.

“No one really questioned much about her background … they just knew her as this college student that went to USC,” Neff said.
