NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. — A man has been arrested and charged following a road rage incident in Neptune Beach earlier this month, as announced by the Neptune Beach Police Department on Facebook this Thursday.
On January 10, officers from NBPD responded to reports of gunshots fired from a moving vehicle amid a road rage altercation. Their investigation uncovered a related incident in Jacksonville Beach involving a vehicle with a matching description.
With the help of the Jacksonville Beach Police Department, NBPD was able to track down a vehicle fitting the suspect’s description at a residence in Neptune Beach.
Detectives from NBPD’s patrol and criminal investigation teams secured and executed search warrants for both the vehicle and the home where it was discovered.
During the search, officers recovered a spent shell casing from the vehicle, which was later seized. As a result of the investigation, Fabio Ladino, 43, was arrested.
Ladino was booked into the Duval County Jail on the following charges:
- Discharging a firearm from a vehicle within 1,000 feet of another person
- Resisting an officer without violence
- Possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana
