Epstein emerges in fresh files dump as pedophile smiles menacingly

House Democrats have unveiled a series of new photographs featuring the late billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, some of which show him smiling while in a bathtub.

The House Oversight Committee shared at least 70 new images of Epstein on Friday evening. This release follows an earlier batch of 19 photos that included images of well-known figures such as Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and Prince Andrew.

While these pictures include prominent personalities, there is no evidence linking them to Epstein’s criminal activities. The Democrats selectively chose these images from a vast archive of 95,000 photographs belonging to Epstein’s estate.

In response, the White House criticized Democrats, accusing them of using “cherry-picked photos” with the intent of targeting Trump.

Out of the approximately 70 images released, only two depict Epstein himself. No new images of Trump were included, though he was portrayed in a caricature as a pumpkin.

The bizarre bathroom photo of Epstein shows the disgraced financier relaxing in a tub behind a curtain. Epstein looks directly into the camera with a crooked smile.

As was the case earlier on Friday, Democrats released the batch without comment or captions on the photos. It is not clear who took the photos or when they were taken.

The second new image of Epstein is an up-close selfie where he appears to have a swollen lip.

White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson said Friday: ‘Once again, House Democrats are selectively releasing cherry-picked photos with random redactions to try and create a false narrative.

‘Here’s the reality: Democrats like Stacey Plaskett and Hakeem Jeffries were soliciting money and meetings from Epstein after he was a convicted sex offender.

‘The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked and the Trump Administration has done more for Epstein’s victims than Democrats ever have by repeatedly calling for transparency, releasing thousands of pages of documents, and calling for further investigations into Epstein’s Democrat friends.

‘It’s time for the media to stop regurgitating Democrat talking points and start asking Democrats why they wanted to hang around Epstein after he was convicted.’

Democrats obtained the new photos from the estate of the deceased pedophile as part of the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into Epstein.

The majority of the newly released photos showed nondescript interiors and construction at Epstein’s private island Little Saint James in the US Virgin Islands.

Other scandalous photos released earlier Friday from the estate feature Trump, Clinton, Woody Allen, Richard Branson, Bill Gates, and Steve Bannon.

A number of bizarre sex toys were also kept as photographs by Epstein’s estate.

The photos do not implicate any of the individuals in Epstein’s crimes. Democrats have selectively released 19 photos of a collection of 95,000 unseen images from Epstein’s estate.

It is unclear why House Democrats have chosen to release these specific photos. The estate provided the House Oversight Committee with the images as part of the lawmakers’ investigation into Epstein.

The President is pictured in the release on three separate occasions.

One photo shows a bowl of condoms with a caricature of Trump’s face along with a sign saying, ‘Trump condom $4.50.’ Each condom shows Trump’s face with the text, ‘I’m HUUUUGE!’

‘These disturbing photos raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world,’ said Rep. Robert Garcia, the ranking Democrat on the Oversight Committee. ‘We will not rest until the American people get the truth.’

During the initial photo batch release, Trump can be seen with six women whose faces are censored by the committee at an unknown date and place.

A second picture depicts the President with a woman sitting on what appears to be a plane. The woman’s face is censored by the House Democrats.

Trump is also spotted partying with Epstein at an unknown social event.

Former president Bill Clinton is seen in a photo with Epstein and his now-convicted mistress Ghislaine Maxwell alongside another man and woman. The photo appears to have Clinton’s signature.

Epstein and Trump had a friendly relationship for years before they fell out in the early 2000s.

Other high-profile names included in the Epstein photo dump include Bill Gates, Clinton’s former economic adviser Larry Summers, Epstein’s lawyer Alan Dershowitz, and Steve Bannon.

Most of the men pictured with Epstein in the new photos have been previously linked to the deceased pedophile.

The timing of the photo appears tied to the December 19 deadline for DOJ’s mandated release, with Democrats moving first on public disclosure.

A spokesman for the GOP-led Oversight Committee accused Garcia and other Democrats of ‘cherry-picking photos’ with unnecessary redactions.

‘Once again, Ranking Member Robert Garcia and Oversight Committee Democrats are cherry-picking photos and making targeted redactions to create a false narrative about President Trump,’ the spokesperson said in a statement.

‘We received over 95,000 photos and Democrats released just a handful. Democrats’ hoax against President Trump has been completely debunked. Nothing in the documents we’ve received shows any wrongdoing. It is shameful Representative Garcia and Democrats continue to put politics above justice for the survivors.’

The release also builds on momentum from recent court orders and signals that Congress is pressing for maximum transparency rather than waiting for the White House.

The Epstein Files Transparency Act, signed into law by Trump last month, compels the Justice Department to release all investigative records by December 19.

Congress’s mandate effectively overrode the conventional wall of grand jury secrecy that had kept the documents sealed.

Trump’s second term has been dominated by questions about the Epstein files, with pressure intensifying on the President after he reneged on a campaign promise to release the files.

The president, who was a longtime associate of Epstein from the 1990s through the early 2000s, earlier this year ordered the release of some material, most of it already public, disappointing critics and prominent allies including Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Trump repeatedly called the Epstein files a Democrat ‘hoax’ in recent months despite campaigning on a pledge to release the documents once in office.

He explosively fell out with Republican firebrand Taylor Greene – one of his most loyal allies in the House – after she ferociously attacked the administration, claiming that they were withholding the files.

Amid an onslaught of pressure from Republicans and Democrats, the Epstein bill was passed by Congress on November 19 before being signed by Trump that same day.

Epstein was indicted on sex trafficking charges in July 2019 but was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell the following month while awaiting trial. His death was ruled a suicide.

Maxwell was convicted in December 2021 after prosecutors presented evidence that she procured girls as young as 14 for abuse by Epstein. She is serving a 20-year sentence in Florida.

Epstein, a New York financier who owned a home in Palm Beach, was a member of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club until he was thrown out for ‘creepy’ behavior toward young women around 2006.

Virginia Giuffre, then 16, was working as a spa locker room attendant at Mar-a-Lago in summer 2000 when Maxwell recruited her as a ‘traveling masseuse’ for Epstein.

Giuffre alleged that she was trafficked globally by Epstein and Maxwell, enduring sexual abuse at his properties and being introduced to high-profile figures like Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the Queen’s son who was stripped of his prince title.

Her account, detailed in 2015 filings, 2019 depositions, and Maxwell’s 2021 trial, revealed Epstein’s recruitment tactics.

Giuffre, who killed herself in April, absolved Trump of any wrongdoing in her memoir.

Epstein files: What is being released?

Where do these new photos come from?

On December 12, House Democrats on the Oversight Committee released dozens of photos from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, selected from approximately 95,000 images provided to Congress.

The photos show Epstein in social settings with prominent figures, including President Trump, former President Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Larry Summers, Woody Allen, and Steve Bannon, but do not by themselves allege criminal conduct.

Democrats can release these materials because the House Oversight Committee has subpoena authority and control over documents obtained during its investigations.

These photos come from Epstein’s estate and are separate from records held by the Justice Department under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

What are the DOJ ‘Epstein files’?

The Epstein Files Transparency Act, signed into law on November 19, requires the Justice Department to release Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell-related records within 30 days, with redactions to protect victims’ privacy and ongoing investigations.

These DOJ records include investigative materials such as grand jury transcripts, evidence from federal cases, correspondence, and other law-enforcement files, materials that are broader and more formal than the estate’s photo collection. Recent federal court orders unsealing grand jury materials in New York and Florida were issued under this law’s authority.

Why are these photos being released by Democrats now?

The timing appears tied to the December 19 deadline for DOJ’s mandated release, with Democrats moving first on public disclosure.

The release also builds on momentum from recent court orders and signals that Congress is pressing for maximum transparency rather than waiting for the White House.

What is the overall state of play?

Two main streams of Epstein-related material are now flowing to the public: (1) congressional releases from the estate, including photos and banking records, and (2) Justice Department releases mandated by the Epstein Files Transparency Act, including unsealed grand jury records.
