() Retired NFL player Richard Sherman’s house was broken into while his family was at home, the former defensive back said, asking for information to catch the perpetrators.

Sherman posted a video on X Monday showing at least three people breaking into his home through a window and two photos of the masked people inside his house. The people seen in the photos and video appeared to be armed with firearms.

“House being robbed at gun point with my family in it isn’t what anyone wants for a birthday gift,” said Sherman, a former Seattle Seahawk and San Francisco 49ers cornerback. “Scary situation that my wife handled masterfully and kept my kids safe. If anyone has any info that can help find these people please reach out.”

A King County, Washington, Sheriff’s Office spokesperson confirmed to that deputies responded to a call just after midnight on Sunday in an area of Maple Valley.

No arrests have been made, and no suspects have been identified.

The incident comes months after the FBI urged professional athletes to take precautions following a string of break-ins at the homes of high-profile players, Reuters reported.

Sherman, a five-time Pro Bowl selection, is now a broadcast analyst for Thursday Night Football.
