SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Nicholas Rossi, recently extradited from Scotland to Utah to confront allegations of a 2008 rape, has received a prison sentence ranging from five years to life in Salt Lake County.
“Although justice took time, the defendant has now been convicted and sentenced, aligning with the impact he inflicted on our survivor. She can find solace knowing he has been held accountable,” stated Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill. “We extend our gratitude to our prosecutors, Brandon Simmons and Clint Heiner, and our victim advocate Cami Heng, for their relentless commitment to this case. Their efforts, along with the collaboration of our local, national, and international partners, have been crucial in securing justice for the survivor.”
