Former Nickelodeon actor Simon Curtis has unveiled a striking transformation after reaching a weight of 225 pounds.

The 39-year-old singer and actor proudly showcased his new physique on Instagram, expressing that he feels rejuvenated after shedding the extra pounds.

Once carrying noticeable weight around his stomach, fuller cheeks, and a softer chest, the Hannah Montana alum now boasts a toned abdomen and defined jawline, attributing his success to a discreet treatment he fully endorses.

Fans lauded his transformation, with one commenting, “You are fitness goals,” while another added, “I know how hard you worked for it. So proud of you.”

Curtis initially gained fame in Nickelodeon’s popular 2009 musical, Spectacular!, before branching out into a flourishing music career.

He has released three studio albums so far, with his fourth record due out next year.

Speaking to Daily Mail, Curtis confessed that regular workouts at Equinox have helped him get back in shape, but there’s another health hack that’s helped along the way.

The performer has turned to peptide therapy to transform his body both inside and out.

He originally used the treatment to help with various autoimmune issues, including vitiligo and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.

One of the benefits of peptide therapy is weight loss, which is why peptides are a popular component of GLP-1s like Ozempic and Wegovy.

Scientists believe that peptides could also lead to breakthroughs for everything from cancer to deadly superbugs and autoimmune diseases.

Peptides have also been dubbed ‘the holy grail of anti-ageing’ due to their many benefits.

In short, peptides are short chains of amino acids.

Some are made naturally by the body to regulate things like growth, repair and metabolism. Others are manufactured to copy or enhance those effects.

A few are proven, doctor-prescribed medicines. Many others are experimental products that have not been properly tested in humans.

Peptide therapy is becoming especially popular among middle-aged men who are keen to reverse sore joints, want to build muscle, and need more energy at the gym.

‘In simple terms, peptides are short chains of amino acids,’ explains Dr Rula Ali, NSW & ACT Deputy Chair of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

‘They are like little messengers in the body to help regulate different functions, like hormone signalling or immune response.’

Some peptides, like insulin or growth hormone, have well-established roles in medicine. Others, like BPC-157 and TB-500, are used off-label in the fitness and recovery world, often via compounding pharmacies or under medical supervision.

‘There are many possible reasons why men are using them more,’ Dr Ali says.

‘Social media and influencers might have helped normalise their use. Also, some men are becoming more concerned, aware and proactive about ageing, wanting to maintain their energy and youthful appearance and vitality.’

But she warns that while some peptides are backed by research, others are not.

‘Peptides used by healthy men for fitness reasons could cause many side effects like hormonal imbalance, joint stiffness, hunger, tiredness, numbness, sugar level imbalance and more.’

Her advice? ‘Before using any non-prescribed peptide for the use of anti-ageing or increased energy and fitness levels, it is always best to consult with your usual GP.’
