Nicole Kidman is embracing the limelight with an open heart.
The acclaimed actress recently turned heads when she was seen holding hands with her “Scarpetta” co-star, Simon Baker, at a red carpet event in New York City on March 3. Their chemistry was palpable not only on the carpet but also during the afterparty, where their close bond was evident.
A source confided to The Sun, emphasizing, “Nicole and Simon’s closeness is definitely the talk of the town right now. They share incredible chemistry on screen, and witnessing them together in real life confirms that their connection is genuine.”
During the afterparty, the insider noted, “They stayed close all night and were engaged in deep conversation.”
Despite the buzz surrounding their apparent closeness, representatives for both Kidman and Baker have not yet responded to requests for comment from Page Six.
In the Prime thriller, Kidman, 58, stars as forensic pathologist, Dr. Kay Scarpetta, while Baker, 56, plays her husband, Benton Wesley.
In 2022, the “Babygirl” actress and “Devil Wears Prada” star also appeared as a married couple in the series “Roar.”
Kidman and Baker have also known each other long before working together.
The Oscar winner is the godmother to Baker’s son with his ex-wife, Rebecca Rigg.
The pair was married from 1998 to 2020.
For her part, Kidman tied the knot with Tom Cruise in 1990 before splitting in 2001.
The exes share kids Bella, 33, and Connor, 31.
The “Eyes Wide Shut” star found love again with country star Keith Urban, whom she married in 2006.
The duo are parents to daughters Sunday, 17, and daughter Faith, 15.
However, Kidman filed for divorce from Urban, 58, after 19 years of marriage, in September.
“Sometimes relationships just run their course,” a source told us at the time, adding that Kidman “did not want the separation and was trying to save things.”
The pair had reportedly been living apart since the beginning of summer 2025.
Following their breakup, the “You Look Good in My Shirt” artist was rumored to be romantically involved with his guitarist, Maggie Baugh. However, Baugh’s friend shut down the speculation.
Kidman and Urban’s divorce was finalized in January.
