A knife-wielding man was arrested Friday night after a confrontation with a crew member working on the Brooklyn set of Michael B. Jordan’s “Miami Vice ’85,” police said.
Alex Perez, 23, allegedly disrupted the production near Bay Parkway and McDonald Avenue, close to Washington Cemetery, at about 11:15 p.m., according to the NYPD, which spoke to The Post.
Police said Perez pulled out a knife during a verbal dispute with a 43-year-old male production staffer. The crew member feared for his safety, authorities said.
“The individual was then taken into custody without incident, and the knife was recovered,” the NYPD said.
TMZ reported that Perez allegedly brandished a large butcher knife during the confrontation.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Perez, a Brooklyn resident, faces charges of second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

“Miami Vice ’85,” starring Jordan and Austin Butler, is being filmed throughout New York City and New Jersey as work continues on the reboot of the classic undercover detective series.
Joseph Kosinski, the director of “Top Gun: Maverick,” is helming the crime drama.
Jordan plays Ricardo Tubbs opposite Butler’s James “Sonny” Crockett and was seen filming nighttime scenes on the Brooklyn set Friday.
Earlier this month, Jordan filmed parts of the remake in Wayne, New Jersey, with co-stars Danny Ramirez and Dominic Sessa.
Production crews converted part of Wayne’s Preakness Shopping Center into an ’80s-style Miami streetscape, adding palm trees and retro storefronts.
The original “Miami Vice” ran on NBC from 1984 to 1989, with Don Johnson portraying Sonny Crockett and Philip Michael Thomas playing Ricardo Tubbs, two undercover detectives battling crime in South Florida.
The Hollywood reboot is scheduled to arrive in theaters in 2028.
