Dressed all in black, a gang of thugs viciously assaulted and robbed a man who was dozing on a Manhattan subway, authorities reported.
According to the police, the 32-year-old victim was approached by three attackers while he was asleep on a southbound train on the 4 line near Union Square around 3:30 a.m. last Friday.
As the man slept, one of the attackers began to strike him, ultimately snatching his cellphone, officials stated.
Before fleeing, the assailants also attempted to steal the man’s watch, but decided to retreat, police disclosed.
Emergency medical services transported the victim to New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital, where he is currently in stable condition, according to the authorities.
Cops said they’re looking for young men between the ages of 18-25 years old.
Pictures released by cops show them dressed in shady, all-black outfits, with two of the fiends covering their faces.
