A five-star football prospect brought an unmistakable WWE-style moment to the field Friday night.
In a Kentucky high school matchup, Boyle County tight end Seneca Driver — an Oklahoma commit — put his 6-foot-6, 240-pound frame on display during an end-zone interception.
Midway through the game against Ballard, a pass intended for Driver sailed off target and was intercepted by cornerback Andy Shepherd.
Driver quickly tracked down Shepherd, lifted the defensive back above his head and drove him into the turf in a move that resembled a choke slam.
The hit sent the crowd into an uproar, while Driver responded by simply shrugging his shoulders.
Shepherd got back to his feet and appeared ready to confront Driver, but teammates intervened before the situation escalated.
Officials assessed Driver a personal foul for the takedown. The penalty ultimately had little impact, however, as the Rebels cruised to a 38-3 win over Ballard and improved to 4-1.

Driver, a senior who contributes on both sides of the ball, was named Kentucky’s 4A Player of the Year in 2025 after recording 875 receiving yards, 11 touchdowns, 67 tackles and five interceptions.
He was also selected to USA Today’s All-American Preseason Third Team.
The incident was not Driver’s first conduct issue this season. He was ejected from Boyle County’s Week 3 game against Lexington Catholic after receiving two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.
Driver then served a one-game suspension, with Boyle County suffering its only loss of the season in that contest.
Before committing to Oklahoma in March, Driver was also heavily pursued by Kentucky. He said the Wildcats’ new leadership showed more consistent interest than former head coach Mark Stoops’ staff.
“When Mark Stoops was there, they recruited me a little bit, but they stopped. That brought it down. When Will Stein and the staff came in, it opened my interest more,” Driver told On 3’s KSR+ in March. “I feel like I’d fit well because of how he’s used his tight ends at Oregon, like [Kenyon] Sadiq.
“They used him a lot, as well as the tight end before him.”
