Who Is Mouaz Moustafa?

Mouaz Moustafa is an executive director of an organization called the Syrian Executive Task Force.

The organization reportedly fights to minimize the violence against Syrian civilians through advocacy and humanitarian initiatives, as per their Twitter handle.

Moreover, Moustafa is very active on social media where he makes tweets about his work and that of his organization. He currently has over 5600 followers on Twitter.

Video On Twitter Shows Passenger Causing American Airlines Flight Diverted

Mouaz Moustafa shared several videos on Twitter regarding the incident on an American Airlines flight.

Getting to the story, the plane that was originally bound to DC had to make an emergency landing at Kansas after a passenger created a scene. He was then subdued by a flight attendant who threw a coffee mug at him.

As seen in Moustafa’s Twitter video, the troublemaker was covered in blood from injuries due to the coffee mug. Even after that, he tried to open the emergency door while the plane was making an emergency landing.

According to reports, the pilot had to land at around 5000 FPM instead of normal 500-700 FPM. A few passengers had no clue about the incident and thought that the plane was crashing.

The plane descended around 31,000 feet in just about eight minutes.

Emergency Landing: Was The Passenger Arrested?

On the American Airlines flight, the passenger who caused the incident was arrested.

He is a middle-aged man whose name has yet to be revealed, according to Moustafa. According to reports, he was taken into custody by the FBI. More information about his identity and charges will be released soon.

Most importantly, no passengers were injured as a result of the incident. The passengers were rebooked onto a different flight.
