LOS ANGELES — Fans of Disney’s “Soarin'” attractions will be thrilled to learn that Patrick Warburton, the original “Chief Flight Attendant,” is making a triumphant return. Warburton, who charmed audiences with his pre-show appearances in “Soarin’ Over California” and “Soarin’ Around the World,” is set to reprise his role for the eagerly awaited “Soarin’ Across America” attraction.
Earlier this year, during the D23 Expo, Warburton shared a humorous anecdote with On The Red Carpet. He loves to have a little fun with his family while waiting in line for the “Soarin'” attraction. “Before I come on screen, I might turn around to everybody in line and ask them politely if everyone can please be quiet. We’re going to get some very important safety information from a very young dynamic actor,” he quipped, showcasing his playful spirit.
Warburton’s distinctive pre-flight instructions have become an integral part of Disney Park lore, bridging the nostalgic elements of the late ’90s and early 2000s with a new generation of “Soarin'” enthusiasts. His return adds a layer of continuity and familiarity that long-time fans are sure to appreciate.
The upcoming “Soarin’ Across America,” set to debut in 2026, promises an exhilarating journey from coast to coast. Guests will soar over the diverse landscapes and iconic landmarks that define the American experience, all while being guided by Warburton’s memorable voice and charismatic presence.
This new 2026 version will take guests on a breathtaking flight from coast to coast, showcasing the natural beauty, landmarks, and spirit of America, all guided once again by Warburton’s iconic voice and charm.
This brand-new version of the fan-favorite ride will debut at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World in Summer 2026, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States.
