Penn Badgley is setting the record straight on his son’s name.

The “You” actor revealed that, despite Wikipedia’s claims, his 4-year-old child’s moniker is not James.

During his appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday night, Badgley shared a quirky anecdote about his 4-year-old son, who often leaves people wondering with his unpredictable comments. Badgley revealed that despite what people may expect, his son’s name is not James.

The “Gossip Girl” alum, 38, explained that he has tried to get the popular encyclopedia website to correct this information about his child — but to no avail.

“The internet, on Wikipedia, for many years, his name was James. And we’d get it removed, it would go back,” he said, reiterating, “His name’s not James.”

While Badgley said that he felt “weird” addressing the topic, he felt like he needed to make the clarification.

“I just thought, ‘Well, you know what? I have a platform, why not clear the air?’” Badgley said.

The “Easy A” star got to his breaking point when his friends would get his son’s name wrong because they would use Google to double-check how to address the pre-schooler.

“There are people who are close to the family who haven’t seen us in a while, they send us a card and it says, ‘To all of us and James,’” he shared.

While Badgley shut down the rumor, he did not reveal his son’s actual name due to privacy reasons.

“His name, because he’s four, will remain undisclosed for as long as we can,” he said, teasing, “It’s a good name though!”

Badgley shares the tyke with his wife, Domino Kirke, whom he married in 2017. He is also a stepfather to Kirke’s 16-year-old son, Cassius, from a previous relationship. The couple are also expecting twin boys this summer.

“It’s thrilling, obviously,” he said of Kirke’s latest pregnancy. “It’s such a nice dose of reality. Like every time I see the sonogram it just… it feels so good.”

Badgley, an only child, said that it was “touching” to see the babies “together” in the womb.

“They’re in there like it’s a hot tub,” he joked. “I actually have seen… there’s a sonogram of them almost like facing each other.”

Both of their older children are “very” excited for the twins’ arrival.

“The 4-year-old we have — I just said it like he’s a bag or something — he’s stoked because he really wants to be a big brother,” Badgley gushed. “And the 16-year-old, he’s excited for us but he’s also like, ‘I’m going to leave in two years.’”

As for how Badgley is feeling about becoming a father of four, he said in disbelief, “I’m going to be parenting them? I’m going to have to raise them!”
