In a recent photo, Pete Davidson’s tattoos appeared significantly faded as he posed shirtless, cradling his newborn daughter.
Elsie Hewitt, Davidson’s girlfriend, posted the touching image on Sunday, showcasing Davidson sharing a tender moment with their daughter, Scottie. In the photo, he is seen embracing the baby affectionately, who is wrapped snugly in a blanket.
Davidson, known for his stint on “Saturday Night Live,” has been open about the challenging and lengthy journey of tattoo removal. The latest image reveals that much of his body art has already diminished.
Hewitt expressed her joy in the caption accompanying the heartwarming photos, writing, “MY BEST FRIENDS🩷🩷🩷.”
The couple welcomed their daughter, Scottie, on December 12, with Hewitt announcing the joyous occasion on Instagram.
She also revealed they named their baby girl Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson — a nod to Davidson’s firefighter dad, Scott, who died during the September 11 terrorist attacks.
“My best work yet, i am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief,” she wrote. As for Davidson, he added, “wu tang forever.”
This marks the couple’s first child. They’ve been dating since early 2025.
In January, Davidson said he was only planning to keep two or three of his 200 tattoos during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
“I’ve been burning them off,” he said. “They burn off a layer of your skin, then it has to heal for six to eight weeks.”
“You can’t get in the sunlight,” he added. “And then you’ve got to do it, like, 12 more times.”
One tattoo he does plan to keep is the one of Hillary Clinton on his right leg that he got after the politician lost the 2016 presidential election.
Davidson, 32, revealed that Clinton actually checked that he wasn’t removing his tattoo of her when he started getting his tattoos erased in 2020.
“What was cute is when I got them removed, she hit me up and she’s like, ‘You’re not removing me, are you?’” he recalled during his appearance on “The Breakfast Club”. “I was like, ‘Of course not, of course. Hillary stays.’”
“She loves it,” he added.
Davidson bluntly shared that the tattoo removal process “sucks.”
“If anyone is actually thinking about getting a tattoo, I would recommend thinking about it for a couple of years because your feelings change, you know?” he shared.
