Piers Morgan tells Don Lemon he's ‘being a complete d--k’

Piers Morgan blasted Don Lemon for “being a complete d–k” during a TV shouting match over Lemon’s firing as CNN’s star anchor.

Lemon was displeased after Morgan questioned him about his sudden exit from CNN in 2023, showing a segment where Lemon was chastised for stating that then-GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley was not “in her prime.”

Lemon was upset, arguing that he agreed to appear to discuss freedom of speech in relation to the assassination of Charlie Kirk and would not have participated if he had known his own prominent case would be highlighted.

“Let’s just be crystal clear about what’s just happened,” Morgan stressed during a fiery exchange. “You brought up the subject of cancel culture.”

“I asked you, ‘Did you feel your departure from CNN was an example of that?’ and you answered the question,” Morgan explained, clarifying why he presented the clip central to the discussion.

As the two began shouting over each other, Morgan said, “What are you talking about?! I think you’re being a complete d–k, if I’m honest with you.”

“OK, well that’s very kind and respectful of you,” Lemon responded sarcastically.

Lemon then accused Morgan of not being “a respectful journalist and host,” to which Morgan shot back, “I don’t think I’ll take lectures on being a respectful journalist from you, Don. I won’t!”

“I don’t know why you’ve gone on this weird rant. I don’t understand any of it. Why have you done this weird reaction?” Morgan persisted.

Lemon said that the controversial 2023 clip “had nothing to do with me leaving CNN,” and complained Morgan and others took the remarks “out of context.”

Lemon’s on-air blow-up comes just weeks after a man on the street told the journalist he was “full of sh-t” during a tense confrontation in New York City.

“You’re a f–king moron, dude,” the man told Lemon, cutting him off within seconds of Lemon introducing himself while filming a segment for his podcast.

The heckler accused CNN and MSNBC of being “full of s–t,” and claimed the networks lied about “genocide” in Gaza and “all wars.”

When Lemon asked why he would walk up to someone and insult them, the man shrugged: “Because it just comes out, man. Because you’re big and think you’re something.”
