CHICAGO (WLS) — Pigment International’s inaugural Pigmented: Black Fine Art Faire will take place Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 at the acclaimed Zhou B Art Center, located at 1029 West 35th Street in Chicago’s Bridgeport neighborhood.

The four-day celebration is being held during October’s Black Fine Art Month, a commemoration of Black art founded by Pigment International in Chicago and entered into the Congressional Record.

It will offer collectible Black fine art, engaging programming and artist talks, a youth exhibition, creative commerce, and commemorative cultural moments-all designed to amplify Black artistry, ownership, and legacy.

Designed by award-winning architect and movie and television set designer Sharon Samuels, the fair promises to be a visually stunning, immersive installation blending fine art with spatial storytelling.

Additionally, the show will also commemorate the 85th anniversaries of the American Negro Exposition and the South Side Community Art Center; and celebrate the legacy of Chicago’s Black-owned galleries.
