Police: 13-year-old boy reported missing out of Lake City

The Lake City Police Department says Jon Paul Dewitt III was last seen Monday at approximately 10:05 p.m. in the area of 225 Northwest Main Boulevard.

LAKE CITY, Fla. — A 13-year-old boy is currently missing out of Lake City, the Lake City Police Department announced Tuesday.

Jon Paul Dewitt III was last seen on Monday at approximately 10:05 p.m. in the area of 225 Northwest Main Boulevard, according to a news release from the police department; he is listed as a “runaway.”

Police say Jon was last seen wearing a black long sleeve sweatshirt with a small “unknown logo” on the top left corner of it, orange basketball shorts and black slides with the word “OKAY” written on the side of them in pink letters.

The release further states that Jon is 5-foot-2 and and weighs 93 pounds.

Anyone with information regarding Jon’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact the Lake City Police Department at 386-752-4343.
